We were treated to some beautiful weather last week and we made the most of it with a cozy evening campfire. Our residents enjoyed roasting marshmallows, sharing stories and singing along as John strummed his guitar. 🎵

We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ada on her retirement! 💐

Ada has been an essential part of the Barrhaven Manor family for the past 24 years. She joined us in October 2001, just two months after we opened our doors, and has been a pillar of care and compassion ever since.

As a dedicated Personal Support Worker, Ada has touched countless lives with her kindness, commitment, and unwavering support. Her impact on our residents, families, and team will never be forgotten.

Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Today we had the joy of sharing some delicious treats with our amazing community!

We kicked things off with a stop at Exhālō, delivering fresh donuts to brighten their day. Then we “cheersed” our friends at MacDonald Property Group with more tasty bites. And after the generous pizza delivery from Domino's Pizza yesterday, we just had to return the kindness with some donut love of our own.

Retirement living is about community and connection. A new resident at Venvi Windsor Park retirement residence felt overwhelmed on her first day, until a group of compassionate residents embraced her warmly. Over lunch, they shared stories and realized they all hailed from the same Italian town. What began as a simple gesture blossomed into an hour of laughter, camaraderie, and encouragement.
