Thank you, residents, tenants, and staff, for your generous contributions to the Interval House on Huntclub.

The Interval House of Ottawa is where they provide wrap-around care to women and gender-diverse people who are fleeing domestic and gender-based violence. Interval House is the only shelter that is known to take pets!

We have been able to accumulate many items like handbags and necessities for women, children, and family pets. We also want to give a shout-out to Wendy Booth, who has been a long-time volunteer for the organization.

Summers are made for good food, shared by good people, in a common space that is valued by its residents, families, friends, staff, management, and greater barrhaven community.

Our Grand patio offers several areas to sit down and lounge with one friend or several. Our greenery and walkway is trimmed and finnicked over to pristine standards for all to enjoy alongside our waterfalls. If the patio is too busy, we have a quaint gazebo for a family to enjoy while eating ice cream. ALSO
We have two patios accessible by Bristol where they have BBQs for family visits.

For the Grand residents, they get spoiled by our chef and kitchen team by making BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs for them!🤪🥰

🌴 Caribbean Open House Bash! 🌴

Our Caribbean-themed open house was a sun-soaked sensation! Residents kicked off their shoes and danced the afternoon away to island beats on the patio, with big smiles, bright outfits, and even brighter moods. The scent of tropical treats filled the air, laughter echoed across the lawn, and not a single person could resist swaying to the steel drums. Whether grooving in a conga line or sipping fruity mocktails under a parasol, everyone truly embraced the island spirit. What a fabulous way to celebrate community, sunshine, and a whole lot of fun! 🏖️🍍🎶

Creativity is an important part of our brain muscles as we get older.

Arts and crafts are not only practicing our fine motor and hand-eye coordination but allowing our residents to express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions. We love it when our residents are able to make and create as they like their own designs or styles.

The joy of life is in its simplicities here at the Waterford Grand ❤️✨️🎊
