I am feeling so grateful and inspired after a wonderful paint party at Old's Cool General Store. The sense of community there is truly something special, and that is what first attracted me to the space and inspired me to host a paint party there.

I would like to sincerely thank Zahra, Mariko, Shafik and Team for their warm welcome and for helping bring this beautiful event together. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone enjoying the event, spending time being creative, exploring art, and simply being present together. We had parents with their kids, couples, a father and his son, and groups of friends — and everyone brought such amazing, positive, energizing spirit to the space.

Zahra opened the session by welcoming everyone and sharing a beautiful story about the significance of the hummingbird, which was the theme of our painting. She also acknowledged the land and Indigenous friends, and it was very meaningful to have some of them present with us during the event. I then facilitated a visualization mindfulness session as we began the painting.

I left feeling very inspired. Sweet and unforgettable memories were made, and I truly look forward to painting again with these wonderful people and this beautiful community.

🌊🎨 Kids Ocean Paint Party – March 15! 🐢🐠

I’m excited to announce our upcoming Kids Paint Party happening on Sunday, March 15 at the Thornton Public Library!

This special ocean-themed session gives children the choice between painting a friendly Sea Turtle 🐢 or a magical Seahorse 🐠 — both designed with bright, beautiful colors and perfect for ages 6–10.

Each child will be guided to create their own 10x8 canvas masterpiece in a fun, supportive, and relaxed environment.

📅 Date: Sunday, March 15
🕠 Time: 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
💲 Cost: $15 per child (all materials included)
🎨 Ages: 6–10

Parents are welcome to stay in the room, relax, and enjoy the creative experience alongside their child.

I had the great opportunity to share my profession with high school students at a French high school! Seeing their inquisitive minds and interest in health, wellbeing, and emotional resilience was amazing. They were especially fascinated by rehabilitation! A beautiful gift from the school made it even more special. Meeting other professionals was a wonderful learning experience too! 🥰🇫🇷
