Support should feel accessible — not like another thing you’re telling yourself you should do but can’t.

If cost has been the quiet reason you’ve been waiting, this might be the right door to open.

Our MSW intern therapists offer reduced rates and pay-what-you-can options, while being closely supported by our senior clinical team.

Thoughtful care. Real conversations. A place to practice boundaries, confidence, and self-trust — without needing to be in crisis first.

You get to decide what you let in.
You get to decide the pace.
You hold the keys.

And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

This might be uncomfortable to hear, and also maybe... provide relief...

Your kids will have their own perspective of their childhood.

Even when you are doing your best.

That doesn’t automatically mean you failed.

It means they experienced you through their own nervous system, not your intentions.

Perfection isn’t what protects kids.
Repair does.
Your best is allowed to be human.
Good enough really is good enough.

And when kids grow up, what matters most isn’t flawless parenting
it’s parents who can reflect, listen, and show up when it counts.

That’s how cycles actually shift.

Some healing paths start with silence and fear, and end in strength and connection.

Stories from our clients remind us that recovery from perinatal trauma isn't about forgetting what happened—it's about reclaiming your story and finding peace within it.

Have you experienced a moment that changed your path to healing?

Is postpartum depression just feeling the "baby blues"?

Is postpartum depression just feeling the "baby blues"?

Feeling unheard by your partner after baby arrives?

You're not alone in this. When sleep is scarce and emotions run high, it's easy for connection to slip away.

Here are gentle ways to share what you need:

• Pick a calm moment, not mid-conflict
• Start with "I feel" instead of "You always"
• Be specific about what would help
• Listen to their side too

Your needs matter. Your voice matters.

Small shifts in how you communicate can bring you closer together.

What small act today will nurture your true self?

Joy isn't found in big moments alone—it's in the daily choices that reconnect you to who you really are. What's one tiny step you can take today to feel more like yourself again?

What if healing starts by simply feeling your body again?

After birth, reconnecting with your body isn't just physical—it's emotional. It helps release what's stuck and invites peace.

How have you been tuning in to yourself lately?

“How often do you think about… whether I messed my kid up today?”

Honestly?

More often than I’d like to admit.

I’m a psychotherapist.

I know the theory. I know the research. I know that repair matters more than perfection.

And still...
I’m human. I get tired. I snap. I miss things. I say the wrong thing and think about it in the shower three hours later.

Here’s the comfort I come back to:
Our kids don’t need us to get it right all the time.
They need enough safety, enough love, and adults who are willing to reflect and repair.
And when it’s bigger than what parenting alone can hold?

There are really good therapists out there!thoughtful, attuned humans, ready to support them when and if they need it.

Parenting was never meant to be the only place healing happens.

Community matters. Support matters. Care beyond our own nervous system matters.

If you’re thinking this thought too, you’re not failing.

You’re paying attention.
And that actually counts for a lot. 💛

Feeling lost in the noise of new motherhood?

You're not alone in this. The chaos can drown out who you used to be. But your voice is still there, waiting.

What if you could find yourself again—not despite motherhood, but within it?

You deserve to feel heard. You deserve to feel like you again.

I remember sitting in the quiet of the nursery, feeling both overwhelmed and disconnected after my baby was born. The joy was there, but so was a deep ache I couldn't name.

That's when I learned about trauma-informed care—a way of supporting moms that acknowledges their unique experiences and the hidden wounds birth can leave behind. It's not just about healing symptoms; it's about honoring your story and rebuilding safety within yourself.

If you've ever felt stuck or unseen in your path, know that trauma-informed care can be a powerful step toward reclaiming peace and confidence in motherhood.

The early signs of postpartum emotional overwhelm are often quiet whispers, not loud alarms.

You might feel a subtle shift—unexpected tears, a heaviness that lingers, or moments of disconnect from yourself and your baby.

These gentle signals matter. They're your mind's way of asking for care before the storm hits.

Recognizing them early can help you reach out, find support, and reclaim your calm.

You're not alone on this path. Taking a moment to notice is the first step toward healing and hope.

Feeling overwhelmed by the chaos of motherhood?

Simple mindfulness exercises can help you reclaim calm—even when it feels impossible.

Try this quick reset: pause for 3 deep breaths, notice 3 things you see around you, and gently stretch your arms overhead.

These small moments of presence can soothe your nervous system and bring you back to center.

You don't have to do it all at once. Start with just one minute today and notice the difference.
