Mik, Certified Pedorthist 👣

Mikela graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics, earning Magna Cum Laude honors. She furthered her education at Western University, where she obtained a Diploma in Pedorthics with distinction.

With a deep interest in human movement and biomechanics, Mikela brings a unique perspective to her practice, informed by her experience as a former competitive mogul skier. Her athletic background not only fuels her passion for biomechanics but also gives her firsthand insight into the challenges of injury recovery.

Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys skiing, playing golf, hiking, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with her puppy, Benson.

Lauren, RMT ✨

Lauren graduated from Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in 2019.

Growing up active, Lauren learned from an early age the importance of manual therapy for rehabilitation, recovery, injury prevention, and overall wellness. Previously working as a personal trainer, she discovered her passion for improving people’s daily lives by reducing pain through her rehabilitation work.

Lauren uses a collaborative approach to her care and focuses on putting the clients individual needs and goals at the forefront of treatments. Her treatments include of mix of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point-therapy, and stretching.
In her spare time you can find her in the gym, golfing, or exploring different coffee shops!

Meet Josh 👋🏼

Resident Physiotherapist ➡️

Born and raised in Australia, Josh completed a doctorate of physiotherapy at Bond University, Gold Coast. Prior to this Josh also completed a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sport Science.

Josh was drawn towards Physio as he always loved helping others. He has a strong interest in a variety of sports, playing field hockey most of his life. Hockey is what sparked his passion in studying physiotherapy to assist others’ rehabilitation and recovery from their injuries.

Josh’s areas of interest include:

- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Vestibular disorders
- Sport Injuries

Outside of work Josh enjoys all things sports, outdoor activity and exploring Canada since moving here in June of 2024.
