Ahoy, Mateys! 🏴‍☠️
Our VAT crew set sail for an unforgettable Pirate Party—a day full of exciting activities, friendly competitions, treasure-worthy photo ops, and delicious food!

Team members joined in the fun with their family, alongside community members, volunteers, and of course the residents. From solving riddles to sharing laughs, the joy was truly contagious. ⚓✨

🌊✨ We had a splash-tastic time at our Under the Sea party with Life with a Baby! From ocean-themed crafts and sensory bins to a fun photo booth and the sweetest cookies from a talented local baker gingasbakeshop — it was a day full of smiles, connection, and community 💙🐚🧁

Excitement was in the air as residents and team members joined the Ground Breaking Ceremony for our new village, Innis Landing!
They had the special opportunity to connect one-on-one with the Minister of Long-Term Care (and her adorable baby!), the Mayor of Barrie, and Jamie Schlegel following the event. A beautiful day of community, conversation, and a bright future ahead! 👏

☀️ What a day to remember!
The Barrie Thunder Classic Cars made a special stop at our village during their Poker Run — collecting cards, sharing stories, and bringing smiles all around.

With sunshine, music, beautiful classic cars, and moments of true connection, the day was filled with joy, nostalgia, and community spirit. 🚘❤️♠️

🦋 From Caterpillars to Flight 🦋
Residents had the joy of watching Painted Lady butterflies grow from tiny caterpillars to beautiful winged wonders. Together, we nurtured them through each stage of life. We gathered to release them into nature to begin their journey. A moment of beauty, growth, and shared joy and brought tears to the eyes of some 🌸🌿

🐻✨ Teddy Bear Picnic Fun! ✨🐻
Our picnic may have moved indoors due to the weather, but that didn’t stop the fun! Life with a Baby joined us for a heartwarming time filled with adorable teddy bears, sweet treats, joyful activities, and live music that brought smiles to all generations. 💕🎶🧸

Residents of Coleman recently visited Georgian College to share their wisdom, advice, and life lessons with PSW students—the future caregivers of our community.
From meaningful conversations to heartfelt connections, this event reminded us all that experience is one of life’s greatest teachers.

Team Members and Residents teamed up to create their very own fairy gardens — complete with tiny details, big smiles, and lots of creativity. 🧚‍♀️💫

What an incredibly heart warming day🥰

Our hearts are filled with gratitude to be the first recipients of the Senior Wish Association Barb Richards Memorial Grant. Volunteers, team members, family members, Green Light Landscape and Senior Wish worked together with the shared goal of giving our back patio a make over for the Residents of Coleman Care Centre.
