Screens are everywhere - and while technology can connect, educate, and entertain, many parents wonder how early exposure impacts their child’s growing mind and emotional wellbeing.
In this 1.5-hour in-person workshop, Registered Social Worker Alina Naim (MSW, RSW) helps parents understand what’s happening inside their young child’s brain when they engage with technology and how to guide those interactions in healthy, developmentally supportive ways.
Together, you’ll explore:
✨ The effects of screens on early brain development and attention.
✨ How to introduce tech intentionally - without guilt or fear.
✨ Screen-free connection ideas to strengthen emotional and family bonds.
✨ How to model mindful tech use and create family routines that work.
Perfect for parents of young and elementary-aged children (ages 5–10), this session is all about building awareness, confidence, and habits that support long-term wellbeing in our modern, digital world.
