Our journey with Daisy a Day Assisted Living Home has beennothing short of extraordinary. From the very first visit, it felt like stepping into a warm embrace, a place where care wasn't just a duty but a heartfelt commitment to each resident's well-being.

For my mother, the decision to move to assisted living was one filled with apprehension. She cherished her independence fiercely, and the thought of leaving her familiar surroundings weighed heavily on her. But then came Jaylynn, a ray of sunshine amidst uncertainty. With her genuine empathy and unwavering patience, Jaylynn became more than just a caregiver; she became a trusted confidante, someone who took the time to understand my mother's fears and hopes, and gently guided her towards acceptance.

Jaylynn's personal touch extended beyond just caregiving; she took the time to learn my mother’s likes and made her happy with the tasty food she would prepare. Suzanna, who comes in on the weekends, is another cherished presence, always ready to lend a helping hand and make my mom's favorite cup of coffee or tea, accompanied by a delicious cookie.

Right from the beginning, the team at Daisy a Day made my mom feel safe, especially as her mobility has decreased and she needs extra help. They respected her fierce independence by allowing her to do what she can, while remaining ever-ready to assist when necessary. My mother is battling cancer right now, and they ensure that she is ready for all appointments when I pick her up, even sending her lunch with her. They make sure whatever dietary requirements she needs for her tests are adhered to and are making this whole treatment that less frustrating.

Daisy a Day isn't just a facility; it's a haven, a place where every resident is seen, heard, and cherished. The caregivers, with their boundless compassion and dedication, create an environment that feels like home in every sense of the word.

In the end, Daisy a Day isn't just a place where my mother resides; it's where she truly lives, where she has found a new chapter filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities. To the entire team at Daisy a Day, words cannot express the depth of our gratitude. You've given my mother more than just a home; you've given her a family. And for that, we will be forever grateful.

Daisy Acres bridges the gap between independent living and end of life, with the assistance of the palliative team in Barrie .

We provide all personal hygiene, medication management, 3 home cooked meals per day with snacks, daily exercises, and individualized care plans, cleaning and laundry all provided

We are monitored by the LHiN and have a care coordinator designated to our three homes. The LHIN provides us with nursing care and any assisted devices we may need to provide the best care possible in the safest way.

We also have a Dr. overseeing care for our residence.

We have 5 beds available, and our prices include all services, food, cable phone and internet

One bed $3500.00 per month with all services
4 beds available for $5300.00 per month including all services

I am always available to come for an assessment to potential clients.

We have a wheelchair van so we can transport patients who are able to sit in a wheel chair, to our
Facilities.

We only have 5 patients to one PSW so an abundance of love and attention provided to each patient. We have an excellent reputation with RVH and the LHIN and of course our residence and families. Testimonials can be seen on our web site.
