If you've been waiting to get back into the gym and looking for a program that will help you get stronger and improve your fitness, in a supportive group, this program is for you.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm from June 21st to September 8th (12 weeks)

Location: park location south east Barrie

Workouts will include a combination of strength, mobility, conditioning amd core.

Investment is $120 + hst/ month for the 12 weeks.

WHY DID I BECOME A STRESS-REDUCED FAT LOSS™ COACH?

I have been training clients now for almost 20 years. This might age me, but I'm turning the big 4-0 this year and plan to be in the best shape physically and mentally.

Through my 20 years of training & coaching I've spent time in all sorts of modalities.

Personal training,yoga, nutrition, self massage, marathons, SUP, and performance training. I teach from experience and knowledge.

In my 20s I became addicted to fitness & body transformations to show up on stage. Swipe right➡️

It lead me down a path of addictive and sabotaging behaviors. It took a long time to heal from diet culture and lead me on a trajectory of changing the game of getting lean and strong. But there were underlying conditions that started to creep up along the way.

I developed, ongoing gas, bloating and constipation while eating healthy foods.

I had skin sensitivities and food intolerance that would not go away.

I was STUCK.

I finally sought out medical attention to see if there were hidden underlying factors.

The experts told me that regardless if I get a diagnosis or not that I should eat according to their food lists. Many of the foods that I had already avoided for decades. Lots of processed food and some medications to get me through the day. Ummm no thanks. I couldn't believe this I what they were prescribing to their overflowing waiting rooms.

No alternatives. No lifestyle changes. No alternative therapies. Nothing to do to heal my body. Only bandaid solutions.

I knew in my gut, literally, there had to be another way. I thanked them & went

I was determined to heal my body inside & out. My body leaned out

I took the became my first case study.

I realize there are so many others out there doing their best in trying to reduce fat and be healthier but get stuck on their journey.

What is Stress-Reduced Fat loss you say?

Well, our bodies add fat as a response to chronic exposure to stress. The nature of stress affects certain hormones, which then determines where the fat gets stored.

Essentially, the body is protecting itself from stress on the system by adding fat cells.

This is no longer a calories in vs. calories out approach to fat loss. But a comprehensive system that takes into account your genetics, metabolism, digestion, current nutrition, goals, mood, lifestyle in order to reduce fat.

For example, when you store more fat in your belly we look at cortisol and ways on managing your cortisol through nutrition, lifestyle shifts and supplements.

Through my 5 step assessment I can identify the major stresses that are affecting your body and address them with the Stress-Reduced Fat Loss ™ Method

➡️Make it a priority - this may mean choosing to wake up early, skipping Netflix at night or using a lunch break to get moving
➡️Plan it into your schedule - at the beginning of the week drop it into your schedule. Put it on the family calendar so everyone knows it's your time
➡️Book a time with your trainer - accountability is key. Hiring a coach or working with a trainer gives you the extra
➡️Take movement breaks - go for a walk, do your stairs, do some mobility exercises
➡️Workout with your kids - inspiring lifelong habits for you and the family.

I used to think that eating a healthy balanced diet was the key to fat loss & better health.

While this is partially true. There's is a catch💫

I have been caught in the healthy balanced diet culture. It served me well for the majority of my adult life.

But, after I had kids, everything changed. Hormones. Sleep. Digestion. Energy.

Eventually I stopped getting the results I wanted. As a trainer and lifestyle coach, I knew there had to be a holistic approach that allowed the body to get the fat loss goals you want + achieve improved levels of overall health.

I refused to go back to yoyo dieting mentality that had me under nourished & fluctuation in weight and ongoing symptoms. I refused to tell my clients it's a matter of reducing calories for fat loss.

I decided to learn more about nutrition, digestion + gut healing, how hormones affect fat loss & other systems.

For the last 3 months I immersed myself in the program to become a Stress Reduced Fat Loss Practitioner

What I learned will forever change how I see nutrition, how the body works + heals & how I can help my clients.

I've healed some parts of me that had been suffering for years including abdominal pain, constipation, bloating & eczema. Some of which doctors only solution was meds.

You see many of us have underlying symptoms that prevent us from achieving the results we want, especially when it comes to fat loss & health goals.

You can eat all the healthy foods you want but if you:
- aren't having healthy poops regularly
- are bloated/tired after meals
- arent sleeping well
- have high levels of stress

As a trainer I never believed it was possible to "spot reduce fat!" Until I became a Stress Reduced Fatloss Practitioner.

Have you ever eaten way too many sugary carbs and slowly you were spilling over your pants?

Why do some people store fat in certain areas of their body and others don't?

Why do some people have indigestion and digestive issues and others don't?

We are all built genetically differently and we have all developed habits over time that have lead you to where you are today.

So how do I help people lose fat and heal their body?

We start with our 5 STEP ASSESSMENT.

▶️HORMONAL PROFILING
This step helps me determine which hormones are dysfunctional and which order of severity I need to start working on

▶️DIGESTIVE ASSESSMENT
You may believe you are eating healthy but it doesn't mean your digestive system is working properly, nor does it mean you are absorbing and benefitting from the nutrients

My client came to me feeling stuck on her fitness journey. She had been living a "healthy" and "active" lifestyle for years but she just couldn't see to get the results she wanted. She was carrying excess fat around her love handles and her back and stomach. She was often bloated and felt full after meals. She complained often of joint paint after her workouts and didn't always have a full night sleep.

She was exhausted guessing on what to do next.

When we did her 5 step assessment we noticed a few things that needed to change before she could.

We did a enzyme test and determined her stomach enzymes were low, and within days she was no longer bloated and was finally able to have consistent healthy poops and no abominal pain or fullness after eating.

Here is what we did:

Many of the foods she was eating were causing bloating and lower bowel pain. We removed the furious 5 foods that are known to cause inflammation and digestive upset.

We cycled her carbs high some days and lower other days ( these days fats were higher) to teach her body how to handle carbs again. She had been on a low carb diet for some time. Stored fat around her waist and her back could finally start to drop when she was timing her carbs at the right time for her body

We did a 7 day colon cleanse to get the bowels moving and cleared out.

I'm so proud of her progress and we are only 4 weeks in. Her digestion has improved, she no longer feels bloated, has significantly reduced the amount of fat around her waist. Her digestive pain is gone, she's sleeping better and has no joint pain. And we are just getting started.

I legit used to hide my hands in public.

I would make sure they were hidden under sleeves, gloves, or a desk. Too embarrassed to shake someone's hand.

My eczema was so bad that my hands were either bleeding or so itchy that I would scratch them till they bled. It was a vicious cycle.

My mom reminded me that my eczema was so bad when I was a child, I was literally covered from head to toe, and would scratch all through the night unknowingly.

We were constantly trying different creams and treatments but my skin was chronically inflammed. I was allergic to everything. My hands were the first place it showed.

I knew the flare ups were related to stress, food and my overall gut health. But I couldn't quite pin point what it was. I have also been dealing with stomach pains, bloating and food sensitivity for the majority of my adult life, which seemed to get worse after years of dieting and kids.

Once I started learning more about improving my internal health, I was able to use these tools, and the eczema and other symptoms seemed to fade away

One day I woke up & noticed that they were clear and soft. No creams, no medications.

Something I've never felt to my knowing touch. They have now been eczema free for almost 2 years now🎉

I'm going to share a few things that really helped, in case you may be suffering from a skin condition like eczema or ongoing digestive issues too.

1️⃣Remove the Furious 5, gluten,dairy, corn, soy and processed food.

2️⃣Complete a gut healing protocol, which includes a series of supplements daily to heal the gut and improve its function.

3️⃣Stress relieving practices. Not a day goes by that I don't either go for a walk, workout, take a sauna or bath.

5️⃣An emotional outlet. Tools to heal the emotiona stress my body was carrying including essential oils, Reiki and meditation.

These practices have become a new way of life for me, not only my hands are clear, my digestive issues have improved, I have more energy & minimal allergies.

This has been long journey of managing the stress on my body and how our body can heal from it. More time will tell.

Today marks Zyia’s 4th Year Anniversary!! 🥂

2 years ago I was introduced to Zyia, and 6 months ago I started the biz! And last month I hit the top 1% of this company!

My beautiful friend and incredible leader, Kelly McGill Olin , who I have yet to meet in person, introduced me to Zyia 2 years ago.

It has been one of my best decisions I have ever made!

While our training facility was locked down, I turned to this side hustle for some stability for our family.

Hi! ✋ It's been awhile, so much has happened the last year. So I thought I would introduce myself.

I'm , women's fitness and lifestyle coach and co-owner of Blais Performance and Wellness

In the last 4 decades I have been on quite the health and fitness journey.
-Played sports as a kid
- Personal training and fitness competitions in my 20s
-Marathons and yoga training
- Strength and conditioning

I've also suffered from
-severe allergies and eczema
-asthma
-bloating & constipation
-inability to lose weight
-postpartum blues

Some of these I have never shared because of embarrasment or judgement.

After kids I began more extensive learning of my body and health and what its need are. My energy tanked, I was constantly bloated, struggled to lose weight and had mood swings as my hubby would say lightly😉
I became a really great snacker of all things sweet and salty.

After working with hundreds of women, I know I am NOT alone.

Many women have suffered from similar complaints or their own and have been stuck.

Conventional methods haven't worked or or causing other side effects without results.

This has lead us on a quest for better health without medications, quick fixes or jumping from one diet to the next.

I have dedicated more time to learn more on what is requires for full body health and supply it to those that want it and help them achieve it along the way.

The thing about our lifestyles is that it affects everyone differently. Some get skin rashes like me others acne, some suffer from headaches, autoimmune conditions, weight gain, weight loss, digestive issues, depression and anxiety and many more....

So how can you take back your health?
⭐Gain the knowledge - there is so much information out there but it is important to learn and keep an open mind, sometimes its shifting some of our beliefs breaking through our conditioning
⭐Cleanse your body of toxins - from foods, to household and skin care products, and manage stress
⭐Feed your body the nutrition it needs - balancing your meals, timing of your meals and nutrients all need to be considered for those on a quest for better health
⭐Belief - thinking positive thoughts
⭐Implementing - Take action - all the knowledge and positive vibes in the world arent' goign to change anything until you take action.

The beautiful thing is our body is wired to be healthy. And it will reward us with health when it meets the requirements.

I've experienced first hand that you can manage your weight, your eczema, your depression, your headaches, your period symptoms, and so much more.

It is the lifestyle we choose to live that determines our health. Everyday we make decisions about what to eat and and drink, how much exercise, rest, fresh air to get,how to take care of our personal hygiene and our atttitudes to be positive or negative.

We create our own health, it is our responsibility.

⭐Client Spotlight⭐Meet Rosanne, mom of 2, wife and mental health worker and member of our Stronger At Home program.

Before starting with us she was needing a push to get motivated to exercise. She began training with us at our lunchtime workouts a couple of days per week and now exercises5-7 times a week.
"Moving my body everyday, I feel so much better not only physically but mentally. It has helped me build strength in body, confidence in myself, calm and clarity of mind and has become one of my sources of self care."

Since then not only has she learned how to exercise effectively, but she has learned simple was to tweak her food intake to get maximum nutritional effect for her body.

She has taken advantage of our nutrition program and has learned to eat healthy hormone balancing meals and gained valuable insight into what her body needs to get lean, recover well, have lasting energy, better sleep and improved digestion.

"I feel and look more toned, have lost weight, my energy and digestion is better."

But best of all. She is setting a good example for her boys with great values, a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating habits and fitness routine.

"My boys see me working out and have started working out again themselves."

We offer a hybrid program since the start of the pandemic allows our clients to access live and on demand workouts. Having a compromised immunity Rosanne appreciates being able to do live online workouts safely at home with the option of doing replays at a time that is convenient for me each day. This gives her the flexibility to workout when she can.

Our workouts are adapted to different skill and ability levels so it doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned athlete or just beginning your fitness journey, we can all workout together and encourage and inspire each other to keep going.
