WHY DID I BECOME A STRESS-REDUCED FAT LOSS™ COACH?
I have been training clients now for almost 20 years. This might age me, but I'm turning the big 4-0 this year and plan to be in the best shape physically and mentally.
Through my 20 years of training & coaching I've spent time in all sorts of modalities.
Personal training,yoga, nutrition, self massage, marathons, SUP, and performance training. I teach from experience and knowledge.
In my 20s I became addicted to fitness & body transformations to show up on stage. Swipe right➡️
It lead me down a path of addictive and sabotaging behaviors. It took a long time to heal from diet culture and lead me on a trajectory of changing the game of getting lean and strong. But there were underlying conditions that started to creep up along the way.
I developed, ongoing gas, bloating and constipation while eating healthy foods.
I had skin sensitivities and food intolerance that would not go away.
I was STUCK.
I finally sought out medical attention to see if there were hidden underlying factors.
The experts told me that regardless if I get a diagnosis or not that I should eat according to their food lists. Many of the foods that I had already avoided for decades. Lots of processed food and some medications to get me through the day. Ummm no thanks. I couldn't believe this I what they were prescribing to their overflowing waiting rooms.
No alternatives. No lifestyle changes. No alternative therapies. Nothing to do to heal my body. Only bandaid solutions.
I knew in my gut, literally, there had to be another way. I thanked them & went
I was determined to heal my body inside & out. My body leaned out
I took the became my first case study.
I realize there are so many others out there doing their best in trying to reduce fat and be healthier but get stuck on their journey.
