His commandments aren’t burdensome!

This doesn’t get rid of his commandments. It doesn’t lower the bar. It shouldn’t send us on a mission to find which ones don’t apply anymore to make it easier.

This is simply the reality that when done in his strength, which only fully comes through intimate relationship with him, it is Christ in me through the power of the Holy Spirit that does it!

The beginning of this journey is an increase in faith that it is worth it to go after Him with everything you have!

Intimacy is not just escaping the busyness of life to find a place of peace with God but intimacy is deep union with Christ that extends from those places of quiet and stillness into the everyday life!

We walked and prayed at the jockey lot this morning and came upon this shop. We all could immediately feel the chills and the spiritual warfare increase and as we prayed we felt led to go in and talk with the owner.
She claimed to know Jesus and that she was saved and was selling all of these things because it was in demand and good for business.
There is a spiritual stronghold in this region that has deceived so many that if you have said a prayer at some point and believe in God you are saved. This is nothing be spiritual witchcraft and the fact is that light and darkness can not be mixed. If you claim Christ and are participating willingly in the kingdom of darkness you are deceived and God is not in you and his judgement is coming so repent before it is to late!
We shared with her that the Lord loved her but that the things she was participating in selling and propagating were not of the kingdom of God but the kingdom of darkness and we prayed that her eyes would be open and she would turn away from these things and recognize them for what they were as false gods and idol worship.

I don’t pretend to know perfectly how to walk into each circumstance and situation that’s comes up as we walk this journey the Lord has welcomed us into. However, we welcome the Spirit to lead us and are confident in the Word and Truth of God to break every chain!

Please join us in praying against the stronghold of the enemy that exists not only in this place but in this region that has deceived so many into false security apart from any inward transformation and personal encounter/relationship with Christ and His Spirit.

I love this crew! They mean the world to me but can I also say this…

God comes first! I can’t love my family they way I ought if I don’t love God and seek first his kingdom.

I know many people who spend way more time trying to provide for, spend time with, give the world to their families but they don’t have personal intimate relationship with the Lord and know and follow the word.

What will serve our families the most is us getting sold out for Christ! When we become a true disciple of Jesus and start doing the things that he did and called each of his disciples to do we enter into the fullness of his favor and blessing!

Don’t settle for what feels comfortable or what seams normal. When it comes to the Kingdom, Go bigger! Expect more! Spend more of your time, money, and resources! And everything else will come together on your behalf.

The pathway to victory is sanctification by the Spirit.

We enter into the Kingdom through salvation which is a free gift to those who repent and believe.

We then allow ourselves to be purified, sanctified, delivered, washed clean, and set apart by the Word and by the Spirit.

And then through obedience to the Word and in the fear of the Lord, we must be filled to overflowing by the Spirit so that Jesus is glorified and lifted high in every area of our lives.

When this is the pattern of our life in Christ we live victoriously, we live in his blessing, his abundance in every way is poured out into our lives and we are excited to share him with the world around us!

We become a city that is set on a hill and won’t be hid. We become salt and light that illuminates truth from lies and brings purpose to those around us!

We do not claim to have already attained but we are walking the pathway of perfection so that when we reach the end we may obtain the prize!

Some pics from the trip so far. What a beautiful world we live in that God created.

I love considering the partnership we are welcomed into by God when caring for and enhancing creation.

One of the pictures is of a Greek Orthodox Church I believe it was. Seeing many old churches, synagogues, temples and how much care they took in creating something spectacular to worship their God/god in has reminded me of an important truth.

We are now the temple and we must pose ourselves the question - do we take that kind of care in our own lives to present ourselves a worthy sacrifice unto God?
Do we allow God to empty us of every unclean thing, every curse, every false belief, every spirit of the enemy? Do we discipline our body and bring it under subjection in every way so that we can run the race of this life in holy worship onto the Lord?

In the midst of so much beauty that has been cultivated over hundreds and sometimes thousands of years, I am reminded that oftentimes the best things in life do not come in just establishing something new but in caring for and cultivating the things we already have.

There is a blessing that comes for all who believe they are blessed.

The name of our boat for the week that our friends blessed us with a last minute invite to join them on.

The boat name is such a prophetic statement for this present age. Lord let your Kingdom fully come! We look forward to spending eternity with you!

In the mean time….

Pray that His Kingdom come and His will be done HERE on earth as it is in Heaven.
And faith in the above apart from works is dead.
Let the body of Christ come together to receive the harvest!

Everybody everywhere needs to hear the gospel and witness submitted vessels full of the Joy of the Lord and experiencing his goodness to tell them the good news!

If you don’t feel full of the Joy or haven’t experienced Gods goodness made manifest in living victorious lives in Christ, then I want you to know that Jesus did not come to condemn and neither do I. And I prophesy over you that you will come into the fullness of Gods kingdom in Jesus name and every form of evil, trauma, oppression, depression, anxiety, fear, addiction must flea in Jesus name as you resist him! I bless you with a fresh hunger for intimacy with the father and His word and that power would come upon you through the Holy Spirit to live for Christ a set apart life!

Shared the good news of Jesus with new friends from Perth while in Salzburg, Austria last night. As I share I sense from the Holy Spirit how far he wants me to go. I sensed last night was about placing the seed and representing joy and excitement for the things of God and trusting in him in the midst of the uncertainty of this world.

We don’t need to overthink the gospel. Being a disciple of Jesus is very practical as a good friend and mentor says. Share from the overflow of your own victory and joy in Christ.

I read this post by my former pastor in Canada and marveled that this was the kind of false paradigm I was brought up with and struggled with myself for decades.

It almost appears noble at first until you peek underneath the surface and you realize that in that environment the church looks just like the world except they claim to be Christians and going to heaven laden down with all their sin.

This is even more damaging than not claiming Christ at all.

I remember telling my old pastor that I was struggling with patterns of lust and his question to me was, “are your thoughts about anyone you know?” And when I answered “no” he was like, “that’s good.” And I never heard anything more from him about it. (This is a paraphrase of the conversation in its essence)

I thank God for delivering me from all my sin and enabling me through the power of his Spirit and the ministry of deliverance to keep a clear conscious before my God and walk in holiness. Victory in every area is the standard that God invites us to and empowers us to achieve through grace - 1 Peter says to be holy as God is holy.

The church of Christ should be out in the world in relationship with broken people as Jesus was, empowered by the Spirit to be a witness to them and invite them into relationship with the Great Physician! Jesus wants to save, heal, and deliver them from every form of sin and oppression by the devil and even free them from being slaves to their own flesh!

Don’t fall for false humility that is just an enabling spirit so people can remain in patterns of sin and shame and not live victorious lives in Christ!

The church is not unified in Christ because the body hasn’t found its identity in Christ but instead the entity of the church they attend.

It will take the body getting back to intimacy with God and obedience to Jesus’ pattern of life and ministry to bring the church back into alignment with Gods heart.

Have you received the gift of the Holy Spirit through asking or impartation separate from salvation?

Are you STIRRING up the gift of God the Holy Spirit in you?

This is the will of God for you so you can be a witness for Jesus and do the things Jesus did and even greater things.

Was blessed to be at Newport Beach where so much revival has happened in California and was central to the Jesus revolution.

The Lord has begun a new revolution and it is time for the body of Christ to rise up and be a part!
Begin your shift from believer to disciple today by surrendering everything to Jesus and getting on mission for Christ!
Be grounded in his goodness so that Joy, Peace, Love, and confidence in God compels you to share the message of the Kingdom.
