What does good care look like for you, your family, and your community?

On April 16, National Advance Care Planning Day invites us to reflect on our wishes for future care and share them with the people who matter most.

Advance care planning is not just paperwork—it is conversation, relationship, and respect for your values, culture, and voice.

Start the conversation today.

✨ We’re Hiring: Nurse Practitioners (Full-Time, Permanent) ✨
The Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle (BANAC) is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join our Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin Indigenous Interprofessional Primary Care Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, wholistic primary care within an Indigenous-led and Indigenous-governed organization.
Working alongside Traditional Healers and an interprofessional team, the Nurse Practitioner will support Indigenous patients and families through health promotion, disease prevention, and community-based care—meeting people where they are at and honouring physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness.

💚 Why BANAC?
At BANAC, our work is guided by Indigenous knowledge systems, community priorities, and principles of respect, reciprocity, and self-determination. We offer a supportive, relational work environment, competitive benefits (including HOOPP), cultural leave, professional development, and the chance to be part of meaningful, community-driven health care.

📍 Regional role with a designated base location
📄 Indigenous ancestry is encouraged to self-identify; lived experience is valued
👉 Apply today and help advance Indigenous health in Indigenous hands.
