With Victoria Day coming up we want to remind owners that these celebrations can be scary for our pets. Consider skipping the fireworks this year. The loud noises and bright lights can be very scary for pets and wildlife! If you have big crowds over consider giving your pet their own space away from everyone. Celebrating with friends and family is important, but keeping our fur babies safe and calm is important too. If you know your pet is anxious during these events, give the clinic a call to discuss your options. If your pet is on anti-anxiety meds for events like this, make sure you have enough before the holiday. Medication refills take 24-48hrs to refill. Plan ahead!

Happy Cinco de Mayo or Cinco de MEOW! Today is a historic day for Mexican culture, identity, heritage, and victory over French forces in the Franco-Mexican War. Cinco de Meow is a fun way to celebrate Mexican heritage with your cat and a good excuse to give them some extra love! Spoil your fur baby with some treats (no Mexican or spicy food) and wrap them up them up in a nice warm purrrrito and enjoy some cuddles!
