Crystal Russell, Registered Massage Therapist, provides a unique treatment to all clients combining both deep tissue (therapeutic) and relaxation techniques together giving each client the individual attention that they need and modifying each technique to suit their needs. Crystal is trained in Swedish Massage as well as a newer Body Saving Method which allows her to use her body "tool" in different ways to give clients deeper massages (if needed) without hurting her body "tool". Crystal is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). While the symptoms of a headache or muscle tension may be relieved temporarily with a pain killer – drugs won’t prevent a return visit. The life-enhancing benefits of massage can be enjoyed by all ages in every level of fitness or injury. Well known for its ability to reduce stress and aid recovery, “the strength of massage therapy in preventing illness and conditions before they develop cannot be overlooked,” according to the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO). “Massage therapy can be used in the treatment of both acute and chronic stages of conditions.”

Hello everyone, I am sadden to have to share the news of my daughter's cancer (Neuroblastoma) relapse. I am unsure of how work will look this time around but wanted to let you all know that I am not ignoring messages it has just been a lot to take in and has took everyone by surprise as her scans were clear just a few weeks ago. Hello all,

Hope everyone is well and staying warm this winter season.

It's funny how things end up working out when you least expect it ❤️
An opportunity fell into my lap and I am so excited to share that I will be re-opening MY practice 🤗.

I have found a really nice space in Barrie on Ferris Lane. The transition will take place THIS FRIDAY 🙌🏼

Hello everyone 😊

It's hard to believe that we are almost finished the first week of September/ first week of school. I hope everyone is getting their routines back in order, kids or no kids haha. Summer always goes by so fast.

There have been some recent changes regarding my massage business. As of Aug 31, 2024, I no longer work out of my office located in the Atrium Medical Building. It saddens me that chapter is now over and I will miss that space and co-workers dearly but there are always new opportunities. If there is anything I have learned over this past 1.5 year it's to embrace change and move forward.

They also do direct billing which I know is a nice convenience.

I have also been playing around with the idea of mobile treatment. Things to look forward to!

I am truly so grateful for all of you and your continued support and trust in me as your RMT. With all the recent changes and me trying to come back to work, it's been a lot easier knowing how supportive my clients are. You are all the best and I hope to continue treating you all.

Hello everyone,

I hope you have all been keeping well and staying healthy.

As most of you know by now, on April 27, 2023 my daughter Abby was diagnosed with cancer (neuroblastoma). I stepped away from work rather abruptly to be with her. It has been 10.5 months of appointments, scans, intense treatments, hospitals stays, nurse home visits etc.

Abby has just started her final journey of treatment which will take us to the end of summer 2024🤞🏻Hopefully in time for Abby to start junior kindergarten!

I wanted to say I am beyond grateful for all of my clients. Everyone has been so understanding and supportive during this time. Thank you will never be enough.

With Abby's treatments it has been hard to think about work however, things are starting to slow down in regards to the frequency of treatments and visits.

With that being said, I am hoping to come back to work part time until things have settled. I wanted to have input from YOU my clientele to see if evenings, days, weekends, maybe 1 of each would be best.
