Meet the team Mondays! 👋
Ashley is a dedicated dental hygienist with over 16 years of experience in dentistry. A graduate of Georgian College, Ashley began her career in Nova Scotia before moving back to the Ontario, and eventually returning Orillia to raise her family. She joined our practice in 2017 and has been an integral part of the team ever since.

Passionate about providing quality care, she strives to make every patient feel comfortable while educating them on the importance of oral health. For her, the most rewarding part of the profession is helping patients achieve healthier smiles through both prevention and personalized care.

Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her soon to be husband and their two children.

Meet the team Mondays! 👋
Margot joined Allandale Dental Centre in 2018, bringing many years of experience with her. She began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant, receiving her accreditation from Georgian College in Orillia. She worked many years chairside, eventually changing her focus to admnistrative work. Margot completed the Dental Practice Managements course at the University of Toronto. Margot will help you with understanding your insurance coverage while providing treatment plans for the recommendations made by our Dental Team.

Margot enjoys time with her family. Spending as much time as possible with her grown children and grandchildren. It is never a dull moment!

This is a face we all know and love! The wonderful Trudi has been an essential part of this office since 1998 🤩

Trudi began her career as a Dental Assistant. She went on to became an instructor of Dental Assisting at a local college for 2 years. Missing the “hands-on” aspect of dental assisting and the patient relationships, Trudi returned to clinical practice.

Now, Trudi is our amazing Administrator, in charge of accounts receivables and you may even see her assisting every now and then!

When not at the office, Trudi enjoys spending time with her two wonderful grown women and four grand babies. She is a proud momma and grandma. She also enjoys swimming, tennis and rowing.

Meet the team Mondays! 👋
Dr Katrina has been with the Allandale team since 2021. She graduated from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry in Halifax in 2015, and worked in Nova Scotia for a few years before returning home to Ontario. She has worked as a clinical instructor at the dental faculties at Dalhousie and University of Toronto.

She takes great care to ensure that each patient has an enjoyable experience in the office and walks out smiling! Known for a meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Katrina’s perfectionism ensures every patient receives the highest standard of care — from precise diagnoses to beautifully crafted restorations.

Her dental philosophy is that the prevention of oral disease is the foundation for good oral health and she takes pride in educating her patients on how to maintain a healthy mouth.

When she’s not saving teeth, she is Mama to 3 young boys! Dr. Katrina is also a competitive rower, and enjoys skiing, baking and gardening. She is very passionate about being a dentist and can’t wait to make you smile! 😁

Meet the team Mondays! 👋
Dr. Derek Mah joined the Allandale team in 2018. He was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he began his academic journey at the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto.

Committed to providing the highest standard of patient care, Dr. Mah is passionate about staying at the forefront of modern dentistry through lifelong learning. He regularly attends dental conferences and continuing education programs to remain current with the latest advancements in techniques, technology, and clinical practice.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mah is an avid soccer enthusiast and recently celebrated the arrival of his first daughter with his wife, Tracy. He values the balance between a fulfilling professional life and a growing family, bringing the same dedication and care to both.

We’re starting off by featuring Dr. Amanda Bray, the proud owner of Allandale Dental Centre 😁
Dr. Bray grew up near Sundridge in the Almaguin Highlands and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto. She began her career as an associate in her hometown before acquiring Allandale Dental Centre in 2014, where she proudly serves the Barrie community.

Known for her compassionate, patient-centred care, Dr. Bray emphasizes trust, communication, and minimally invasive dentistry. She stays current with modern, evidence-based techniques to ensure the highest standard of care.

When not in the office, Dr. Bray enjoys traveling with her husband and young kids, as well as visiting her hometown where her family resides.

We celebrated Dr. Mah and his wife, Dr. Liu yesterday as they are about to welcome their first baby in just a couple of weeks! We couldn’t be more excited and happy for them! 🎀
Dr. Mah will be taking a short leave from February 11th to April 14th. In the meantime, you may see some new friendly faces as we have some wonderful Dentists filling in during his time off
