Brittany-Lyne provides Full-Spectrum Doula Care, Birthing From Within Childbirth Preparation Classes and Placenta Encapsulation. She is currently on leave from Laurentian University’s Midwifery Education Program and has completed her studies in Gender, Women and Sexualities. Brittany-Lyne is committed to offering q***r and trans-inclusive, anti-oppressive, non-outcome focused care to her full-spectrum doula practice. She supports families in all reproductive journeys including fertility, birth, abortion and pregnancy loss. With her experience as a surrogate Brittany-Lyne understands the challenges and joys of using reproductive assistance. As a q***r doula who has a blended family, she recognizes the complexities of creating families and how essential it is that parents/caregivers feel heard and supported through their labyrinthine journey. Brittany-Lyne is knowledgeable in supporting sexual assault survivors and high risk pregnancies. Recognizing the many unknowns and surprises in birth’s labyrinth, she works from a non-outcome focused approach, believing that we make decisions out of love for what the moment calls for. Brittany-Lyne lives in east Toronto with her many plants and partner. When she is off-call you can find her sipping red wine and dancing.
