HAP TherapyCare

HAP TherapyCare I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, motherhood, and major life transitions.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the complexities that come with navigating

multiple cultures, identities, and expectations. That lived experience deeply informs my work and allows me to hold space for clients facing similar challenges—especially those managing generational pressures, cultural disconnection, or the silent weight of trying to “do it all.”

I also offer therapy in Tamil and welcome clients from all backgrounds. If it matters to you, it matters in our work together. If you’re curious about starting therapy or wondering if we’re the right fit, I welcome you to book a session or a free 15-minute consultation.

Sometimes the struggle isn’t visible. Life can look complete on paper, yet something inside feels quiet, empty, or disconnected.
When you’ve spent years showing up for responsibilities, roles, and expectations, it’s easy to lose touch with yourself.
Therapy can offer a space where you don’t have to justify your feelings or explain why you feel this way.

A space to pause, reflect, and gently explore what fulfillment and meaning look like in this phase of life.

Wanting more emotional aliveness doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful, it means you’re human.

Our nervous system reacts first.
Then our mind gives meaning to that reaction based on our experiences, beliefs, memories, and fears.

Sometimes what feels like anxiety may also hold excitement.
Sometimes anger may be protecting hurt.
Sometimes numbness may be exhaustion.

Learning to pause and ask:
“What am I actually feeling right now?”
can create so much more clarity than immediately reacting to the situation around us.

Not every fast heartbeat means danger.
Sometimes it means something matters deeply to you.

Real talk: Most of us were never taught the difference between an emotion and a feeling.

So we go around saying “I feel like they don’t care” or “I feel like I’m being ignored” and wonder why nothing changes.

Here’s the truth: The moment you name YOUR real feeling instead of pointing at someone else’s behavior, everything shifts.

Swipe through to learn the difference.

When everyone talks about what a mother should do and carry…
who is actually checking in on the mother?

For the longest time, putting yourself first was seen as selfish.
But slowly, we are unlearning that.

Because the truth is, you cannot keep pouring from an empty cup.
You need to take care of yourself to be able to show up for others.

To all the mothers who feel like no one really understands what you’re carrying…
I hear you.

If you’ve ever felt alone in this, you’re not the only one.
We’re in this together.

You are doing more than enough.
You are strength, power, and grace 🤍

The goal is not to become cold.
The goal is to become more aware, more protected, and more intentional in who you let close.

If this felt personal, therapy can offer a safe space to explore it gently.
