BLiSS² is a collective community space that supports mindful movement, mental clarity, and embodied therapy, located in downtown Barrie, Ontario. We offer a variety of virtual & physical yoga and fitness classes including hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, aerial, kundalini, pre & postnatal yoga, yoga therapy, and meditation. BLiSS² hosts a full education program taught by Ann Green including yoga teacher training and advanced yoga teacher education. We also offer yoga coaching and therapy and counselling.

There was a time in my life when I thought strength meant pushing harder. As a world-class athlete, I trained at the edge of force.

Grief taught me something different. It taught me about compression. About breath collapse. About how the nervous system tightens long before we notice.

This feature in Pages with Purpose Magazine feels less like publicity and more like a widening of the conversation around:

• burnout
• concussion fatigue
• identity shifts
• grief in the ribs
• nervous system capacity

But also about saying no without guilt and not overriding your body to make others comfortable. Grief refined my understanding of worth. It stripped away performance and left alignment.

• Stretch • was built from lived experience, pressure, and reinvention. From learning that space is medicine. It was my sister Nancy’s nickname long before it became anything public. After she passed, that word carried both grief and possibility. The name of this work is, first and foremost, a legacy of love.

At its core, • Stretch • symbolizes the dynamic between two end points • —— • visually stimulating tensity betwixt contraction and expansion, grief and joy, softness and power. Pressure and potential. The physics of growth in both body and life. In physiology and in life, growth requires tension. But it also requires space.

This work is both personal and professional, rooted in macro truths— which right now is a season of grief for me and so many others I help—and micro joys.

When you walk into • Stretch • you are stepping into something that began in my family and has grown into a a sacred space of protection and care shaped by science, and guided by the belief that humans are meant to expand into their full capacity. My intention is simple: To help as many humans as possible stretch into who they truly are.
