BLiSS² is a collective community space that supports mindful movement, mental clarity, and embodied therapy, located in downtown Barrie, Ontario. We offer a variety of virtual & physical yoga and fitness classes including hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, aerial, kundalini, pre & postnatal yoga, yoga therapy, and meditation. BLiSS² hosts a full education program taught by Ann Green including yoga teacher training and advanced yoga teacher education. We also offer yoga coaching and therapy and counselling.

How was everyone’s first day of spring? We’ve had a strong start with much snow. Very grey. All the sub-zero temps. And yet, the weather system mirrors how equinox marks a point of balance. Equal light and dark. A transition, not a clean switch. 🎛️

In several traditions connected to yoga and Ayurveda, spring is also recognized as the beginning of the new year. A return point. A reset that starts quietly, not all at once.

The body works the same way. Change isn’t linear. It expands, contracts, recalibrates. The new moon offers a similar cue. A quieter reset. Less force, more space. 🦋

Our humble offering for you today is this snippet. It’s 1 of 5 incredible teaching videos woven throughout our free introductory primer for those curious about Ann Green’s Yoga Teacher Education program. A new round begins in April!
