We just received a generous donation from Because We Care which is a great group of ladies in the S**g Hbr -Wood Harbor area who want to help us help kids traveling to Halifax.IWK. Thank you all so much.

KIDS TRAVEL FUND

We still have funds available to help with transportation costs for families travelling to the IWK. We are a registered charity and can help kids in the Municipality of Barrington and Town of Clarks Harbour.  Though not a wealthy organization. we can contribute $100 for day trips and $300 if an overnight stay at a hotel is required. We have been around for a long time but just thought you might need to be reminded . All the best from all of us and stay safe traveling on these winter roads.

Funds raised for IWK Kids Travel from our Evening in Black and White totalled $ 5500. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE who made this a night to remember. The money will be put to good use helping young families during stressful times taking their kids to medical appointments . Carl and Ben , you were amazing hosts . Frankie Crowell thanks for taking so many pictures . Barrington and Area Ground Search and Rescue you kept everyone safe .
Dawn you were so wonderful helping Deanna ( our own decorator and your sister ) in “ putting on the Ritz” for that funfilled night which more than anything else displayed the generosity of our area when it comes to looking after one another .
