🎉 Nouvelle optométriste dans la région! 👁️
Nous sommes très heureux d’annoncer l’arrivée de Dre Isabella Duguay, optométriste, qui se joindra officiellement à notre équipe dès août 2025!
Originaire de la région Chaleur, Dre Duguay est récemment diplômée du Doctorat en optométrie de l’Université de Montréal. Passionnée, engagée et dynamique, elle revient dans sa région natale avec un bagage impressionnant en soins oculaires. Elle a notamment complété un stage avancé à la clinique Precision Cornea Center à Ottawa, où elle a travaillé aux côtés d’optométristes et d’ophtalmologistes spécialisés en santé du segment antérieur.
Elle possède une expertise particulière en sécheresse oculaire, en lentilles cornéennes de spécialité et en soins du segment antérieur, et souhaite offrir une optométrie familiale complète, avec une approche humaine, chaleureuse et innovante.
✨ Quelques faits saillants à son sujet :
• Présidente de sa promotion pendant ses 5 années à l’Université de Montréal
• Présidente de son association étudiante en dernière année
• Lauréate de plusieurs distinctions, dont Étudiante de l’année (Association des optométristes du Québec) et Top Graduate du Women’s Optometry Journal
• Chef d’équipe et participante à un voyage humanitaire en optométrie au Maroc
• Bientôt présentatrice au congrès de l’Association Canadienne des Optométristes, où elle présentera son projet de recherche sélectionné avec son équipe!
Lorsqu’elle ne porte pas sa blouse d’optométriste, Dre Duguay aime le badminton, les voyages, la lecture, passer du temps avec ses proches et s’impliquer dans sa communauté.

We are very excited to announce that Dr. Isabella Duguay, optometrist, will officially be joining our team in August 2025!
Originally from the Chaleur region, Dr. Duguay is a recent graduate of the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Montreal. Passionate, dedicated, and dynamic, she returns to her hometown with an impressive background in eye care. She completed an advanced internship at the Precision Cornea Center in Ottawa, where she worked alongside optometrists and ophthalmologists specializing in anterior segment health.
She has particular expertise in dry eye, specialty contact lenses, and anterior segment care, and she is committed to offering comprehensive family optometry with a warm, human, and innovative approach.
✨ A few highlights about her:
• Class president throughout her 5 years at the University of Montreal
• President of her student association in her final year
• Recipient of several awards, including Student of the Year (Quebec Association of Optometrists) and Top Graduate by the Women’s Optometry Journal
• Team leader and participant in a humanitarian optometry trip to Morocco
• Soon to be a presenter at the Canadian Association of Optometrists’ conference, where she will present her team’s selected research project!
When she’s not in her optometrist coat, Dr. Duguay enjoys badminton, traveling, reading, spending time with loved ones, and getting involved in her community.
