Float therapy isnât about zoning out; itâs about giving your nervous system a chance to recalibrate. When we reduce stimulation, the body can finally process what itâs been holding. Sometimes we donât realize how much weâre carrying until we finally stop moving.
As an NP, I see so many people trying to push through chronic stress. Float therapy is one of the few things that actually helps the body downshiftânot just mentally, but physiologically. When cortisol drops and your muscles release, your mind finally slows down.
