Still pinching myself!
✨ Power of One Award ✨

I am beyond grateful to the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce for this recognition.

I never opened East-West thinking I’d be recognized in this way—I opened to help people feel their best with the education and skills I’ve worked hard to cultivate. 💛

But truly—the biggest thank you goes to my patients, community, and supporters. You’re the reason I do what I do. Helping you feel your best will always be my “why,” and this award is simply a reflection of the love, trust, and energy we share together.

To my patients: you are my inspiration every single day. I promise to keep showing up, being a force, and helping you feel your absolute best.

Thank you for the nomination and thank you for considering me and choosing me as the winner. My heart is still soaking up this reality! 💞

❤️

Feeling tired, bloated, or foggy?

Your Spleen Qi might be calling for support.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Spleen plays a major role in digestion, energy, and blood production.
When it’s deficient, your whole system can feel “off.”

Swipe through to learn the symptoms, causes, and healing tips for Spleen Qi Deficiency—and how acupuncture can help restore balance naturally.

Seasonal allergies? You don’t have to suffer through them every year.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), allergies are more than surface-level symptoms — they’re a signal of internal imbalance, especially in your Lung, Spleen, and Kidney systems.

✨ The good news? TCM offers natural, effective support — from acupuncture and herbal medicine to dietary and lifestyle shifts that boost your immunity (aka Wei Qi!) and help prevent yearly flare-ups.

Swipe through to bust a common myth and learn how TCM views allergy season differently — and what you can do now to breathe easier this spring.

💆‍♀️ I offer personalized treatment plans for allergy relief right here in Beamsville.
Let’s work with your body’s natural rhythm to feel better — this season and beyond.

Ever wonder why your acupuncturist asks to see your tongue? It’s not weird—we promise! 😄

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the tongue is like a health mirror 🔍 revealing signs about your digestion, circulation, stress levels, and more.

We look at:
✨ Colour
✨ Shape
✨ Coating
✨ Moisture
✨ Cracks or spots

Each area of your tongue corresponds to a different organ or system. It’s a fascinating, non-invasive tool we use to personalize your treatments and track your progress. 💛

How Stress Affects Digestion –
Let’s talk about that gut-brain connection!

From a Western medical perspective, stress activates the sympathetic nervous system (your “fight or flight” mode), which slows digestion, decreases nutrient absorption, and can lead to issues like bloating, IBS, and appetite changes.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), stress often disrupts the flow of Liver Qi, which in turn affects the Spleen—responsible for transforming food into energy. This can show up as gas, bloating, irregular bowels, or even fatigue after meals.

✨ East or West, both systems agree: your mind and gut are deeply connected.

💆‍♀️ Try calming practices like acupuncture, breath work, or gentle movement to support both digestion and stress relief.

Feeling off? Try this 5-minute spring reset.
I think a lot of us are lately…

You don’t need an hour to feel better — just a moment to ground yourself:

✨ 1 min of slow, intentional breathwork
✨ 2 mins of gentle stretching — neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, forward folds
✨ 2 mins sipping herbal tea (lemon balm, mint, or chamomile are lovely for spring)

It’s a tiny ritual with a big ripple effect. Try it, see if it works for you.

🌱 Save this as your go-to reset whenever you need to reconnect.
