A windy walk, a full heart, and a simple reminder: the little moments matter most. 🌊💛

Research continues to show that just 30–35 minutes of walking a day can significantly reduce our risk for chronic disease, improve mood, support brain health, and regulate stress. But beyond the physical benefits, there’s something even more powerful happening here…

Connection.

Walking side by side with our kids creates space for conversation that doesn’t always happen face-to-face. It softens defenses, opens dialogue, and strengthens relationships in ways that feel natural and unforced.

As parents, we’re not just raising children—we’re modeling what it means to care for our minds and bodies. When they see us move, breathe, unplug, and be present, they learn to do the same.

So step outside. Take the walk. Have the conversation.Soak it up—these moments are fleeting, but their impact lasts a lifetime.

Smiling because sometimes joy deserves to take up space. And also… Game 7 energy ❤️🦖🏀😄

We often underestimate the power of a smile. It can shift your mood, lower stress, regulate your nervous system, and create connection—both with yourself and the people around you.

Even when life feels heavy, finding a moment to smile isn’t about ignoring reality. It’s about giving your brain and body a small reminder that relief, lightness, and hope are still available.

Sometimes that’s all we need: one exhilarating moment, one deep breath, one reason to smile.

You don’t need to run a marathon to take care of your mental health.

Movement can be simple. It can be slow. It can even be… stylish 😉

A walk counts. Around the block, through your day, between sessions of life.

It’s not just physical — walking can help regulate mood, reduce stress, and give your mind 🧠 space to breathe.

And if adding a little flair (hello wrist weights ✨) makes it more fun? Even better.

Make movement something you enjoy, not something you dread.

Your mental health doesn’t need perfection — it needs consistency 💛

Life definitely throws curveballs. It can be messy, painful and beautiful all at the same time.

I believe we’re all capable of growth and moving forward, despite any adversity we may face along the way.

With regard to grief, it’s a never ending journey. It will shape you in ways you never imagined. Eventually, you will make meaning out of it. Use your pain to propel you forward in life.

We grieve because we loved and miss their physical presence. Cherish your memories and carry them with you as you continue to build new ones. Life is meant to be lived.
