This Wednesday from 1-3pm join us at the clinic for coffee, conversations and community! Senior Safety Officer Dawn Thomas will be here to talk about how to live independently at home, dealing with memory loss, and all things senior safety. She is giving a brief presentation followed by a Q&A period

You don't have to be a senior to attend! Snacks and warm drinks provided. Free/free will donation at the door. Hope to see you there :)

The Bear River & Area Community Health Clinic has been approached by Greenshield to share information on their Essential Medicines Program. They provide free coverage for those who qualify to receive $1000 of coverage annually for prescription drugs included in the program. The application process is extremely simple and doesn't require you to upload any documents related to income or employment status when you apply. We are gathering information to find out how many people in our community are eligible to enrol in the EMP program

If you would like apply for the EMP program please complete this quick 2 minute survey and be sure to leave your email address in the last question. Those who are eligible will be contacted by email with next steps for the application process

The Bear River and Area Community Health Clinic is seeking a physician to work one day a week or two days bi-weekly. Our clinic services patients who live from Annapolis to Weymouth

We are a charitable non-profit organization run primarily by volunteer board members from our community. As a community health clinic we strive to support the unique health needs of our rural village and surrounding communities. We provide services that promote healthy living and offer regular programs and events that focus on education and emotional wellbeing. Our clinic is a collaborative practice that currently has 10 service providers working together to support all aspects of health and wellness

We are seeking an empathetic and outgoing individual who would like to settle down and join our team to provide primary care to the village and surrounding communities. You’ll get administrative services from our clinic director and community connections with our local service providers, as well as the opportunity to participate in the inpatient rotation at Digby General Hospital or explore other options in the Annapolis to Weymouth communities
