The Vision Gallery Beaumont is seeking a Licensed Optician to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our optical team, you’ll help deliver personalized eyewear solutions and provide expert guidance to our patients. You’ll play an essential role in managing eyewear orders, edging lenses, and ensuring that every patient leaves with eyewear that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers in selecting the perfect frames and lenses based on their vision needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
• Order lenses and eyewear products, ensuring accuracy in prescriptions and specifications.
• Edge lenses in-house with precision and attention to detail.
• Accurately measure patients for eyewear, ensuring a perfect fit and comfort.
• Adjust and fine-tune eyewear to provide optimal fit and comfort for patients.
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance, including lens cleaning and frame adjustments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and order details.
• Manage inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure that patients have a seamless, enjoyable experience at every visit.
Qualifications:
• Licensed Optician in the province of Alberta
• Experience in ordering and edging lenses.
• In-depth knowledge of eyewear products, lens types, and frame fitting.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Previous experience in a retail or optical setting is highly preferred.
