I am happy to report we (finally) have our new online booking system operational. Our new system, OceanMD, does NOT require any portal registration - just your name and date of birth. Please note that we are only posting a limited portion of our schedule online at this time to ensure we have plenty of appointments available for those who are less technologically inclined so please give the office a call if you can't find an appointment that works for you.

I just wanted to let everyone know Beaumont is experiencing a power outage and thus we have no phones etc. Fortis is estimating a repair time of 3pm so we are closing early today!

Please be advised that we are NOT accepting any further new patients at this time. We opened up a few spots this morning but they have all been filled. We do not anticipate another new patient intake for at least 3+ months. Thanks!

Please be advised that even though the provincial COVID rules are loosening in the days/weeks ahead the clinic will continue to require all patients and visitors to wear masks and will continue all COVID screening protocols for the time being. As a health care facility with a large variety of potentially vulnerable patients passing through our doors each day we must be extremely cautious at this point in time. We would ask that everyone continue to respect these requirements and not to harass or abuse our staff should you disagree with the policies we have set in place to protect your fellow patients.

Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know that I am happy to report that clinic will be back to normal on Tuesday. Given the upcoming holiday it will be a bit of a short week but we will do our utmost to see everyone that needs it during those days.

To everyone affected by our cancellations over the last couple of days I offer my profuse apologies. Unfortunately it turns out that doctors aren't as immune from medical problems as we like to pretend and I have found myself on the other side of the equation awaiting emergency surgery. I hope to resume clinic asap next week, the staff will be in touch for rescheduling where needed. Once again my deepest apologies for all the inconvenience this has caused all of you whose appointments we have had to cancel/reschedule. Take care and have a Merry Christmas!

Just a heads up everyone, we will be closed for the Christmas holiday from December 24 to January 2 so please be sure to check if you are getting low on meds so you can make an appointment for your refills before the break. Take care and hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Thanks to everyone for the huge response - we have filled all our openings for new patients for the time being. Feel free to check in at the beginning of each month (no sooner than September) to see if we are accepting again.

As Alberta prepares for reopening in July I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that although the provincial mass mandate will be dropping on July 1st this does not mean all of the municipal and business mask mandates will also be dropped as of this date. Please be sure to check with your local city/town authorities to confirm if masks are still required in your community (and keep a mask handy for those businesses that are still requiring them). On that note please note that as a health care facility we will still be requiring all persons entering the clinic to wear masks for the foreseeable future, I will be sure to post as soon as this changes.

As we prepare to reopen for in person appointments tomorrow I wanted to let you know about a few temporary measures recommended by AHS that we have introduced to help keep everyone safe while attending appointments in the midst of what may be our worst wave of COVID so far:

1) Absolutely no entry if you have any cold or flu (or COVID) symptoms, if you are a close contact of a recent COVID case or if you have had a test in the last 14 days (we will still be offering phone appointments to accomodate you)

2) No extra people in the room for appointments - patients only unless a child or otherwise in need of an assistant in which case one person may accompany them (and extras cannot hang out in the waiting room, sorry)

3) Upon arrival do not enter the clinic. Text your name and “Checking in” to us at 825-522-0701 to let us know you have arrived. *we will have a chair in the waiting room to accomodate those who walked and don’t have a vehicle to wait in

4) Please be patient with our staff if wait times are longer than usual, we have to perform sanitization measures in each room after each patient so things may move more slowly than usual.

I apologize in advance for any inconveniences these measures may cause. I sincerely hope they will be very short lived and look forward to returning to a more normal state as soon as this wave of COVID has ebbed.
