Hey everyone!
I apologize for my absence and my poor response time to your emails and texts.
I feel like I haven't been able to put 100% into my business for the past year due to all the uncertainty I've been living in, and I am feeling so relieved to have my new space almost done.
Give me one more week and I'll be on my phone, calling, texting and email all of my current patients.

I am accepting patients who have seniors coverage under the Canadian Dental Care Plan.

I do, however, have some thoughts on it :

1) It does not provide enough coverage to maintain good oral health for the majority of people.

2) The fees for services that they will pay providers is lower for Independent Dental Hygienists than it is for Dentists - I feel like this is trash as I provide the same services and have the same skills as any hygienist employed by a dentist.

3) There are Dental benefits through the province of Alberta for low income seniors, adults and children of low income homes that provide better coverage than the CDCP and I do encourage anyone who may qualify to search :

DASP (Dental Assistance for Seniors Program)

CHB (Child Health Benefit)

AISH (Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped)

VAC (Veterans affairs Canada)

NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefit)

My Story

It was during my time at the University of Alberta that I decided that once I was able to, Iā€™d become an Independent Dental Hygienist. In January 2019 that dream came true when I opened the doors and welcomed my first clients into Beaumont Dental Hygiene Studio. Both my parents are entrepreneurs, and they have helped me to launch myself into entrepreneurship. Being born and raised in Beaumont, and continuing to live in Beaumont, it seemed only natural to open my business in Beaumont. I aim to cater my services to people who are looking to change their dental hygiene experience. I am here to service anyone who requires dental hygiene therapy in the City of Beaumont and the surrounding communities.

When you book an appointment with Beaumont Dental Hygiene Studio you are supporting a local family and a born and raised in Beaumont girl, whose dream it was to be her own boss and do what she loves. I hope to see you soon!
