Fire Cupping, also referred to as Cupping Therapy, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy that works by helping to remove any blockages stopping the flow of Qi (pronounced ‘chee’) in the body. Therapists will place warm glass cups onto a specific acupuncture point along an energy meridian. By warming the air within each cup, a vacuum is created that draws the tissue inside when placed onto the skin. This helps increase the blood flow, loosening the connective tissue, and stimulates the body’s natural healing process.

This therapeutic process is often compared to deep tissue massage, which is used to break up residual scar tissue gradually and reduce pain in the area. Similarly, cups are placed on the back, shoulders, neck, arms or legs or a specific area where the patient is experiencing pain.
The cups can be left in place for between five to twenty minutes, depending on the nature of the condition and what your practitioner believes will work best.
Does Fire Cupping hurt?
Generally, fire cupping is very therapeutic, with many patients reporting that the experience is relaxing and feels similar to a deep tissue massage. Although the red marks left after each session can look scary, cupping is not painful, and the therapeutic release you feel can last for weeks.
Fire cupping can have some temporary side effects, such as circular bruising and soreness that can vary based on the level of suction created. These bruises can often last for a few days or a couple of weeks before fading away.

Hello! My name is Becca. I’m so excited to start my journey of massage therapy, and helping others find healing. I firmly believe in massage therapy as a deeper form of healing rather than only physical. I believe everything is connected and deeply impacted by the smallest things in our lives.

I have always been interested in spirituality. I feel that this is my soul purpose in the world, and there was a strong divine guidance to this path; allowing my gift of energy reading and working closely with spirits to blossom.

My intentions are always to the highest level of good working closely with the universal energy to help others find their healing by holding space for them.

Outside of work, I love music, reading, and nature. I find healing through dance, and flow art, you can often find me outside engaging with nature and listening to her every wisp of energy.

Hello, I’m Elyssa.. I’m fascinated with the mind, body and soul connection, and how it can assist in healing us emotionally, physically and mentally.
Wellness and yoga have been a healing staple through my life, even more so after a life defining moment. This lead me to complete a 3000hr program with Mackine College, I completed a 200hr yoga instructor certificate through Higher Love Yoga Academy in 2021.
I am strong advocate for mental health. I believe in the positive effects massage, meditation, yoga and other alternative therapies collaboratively bring to the healing and recovery processes from injury, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression etc., and in 2022, I certified in Trauma Informed Care. My is a therapeutic approach blending breath, relaxation, deep tissue, cupping/ myofascial release and trigger point therapy to support your healing journey.
I live and practice a lagom lifestyle- having what you need, but not needing more — [aligned living, I love experiencing life with my kids, deep diving into metaphysics, being about in nature, catching some live music, riding on a motorcycle, appreciating the sun and the amazing view from my deck.

This offering is by donation. Full moon kits are available for purchase only during full moon ceremony. Kits include: tumbled crystal, ethically sourced palo Santo, reiki infused manifestation bath salt jar, & flower essences. Kits are curated intuitively & intentionally for each individual.
