Today, Brock CHC was pleased to welcome students from Brock High School to our new location for a tour and an educational session on Ageism, marking the launch our new partnership “Friends and Flavours."

This initiative is a collaboration between Brock High School, Community Care Durham and Brock CHC . Together we will be hosting monthly community lunches at our 39 Cameron Street location. Students in the Culinary Arts Program will plan, prepare and serve the meals, giving them hands-on experience while bringing our community together.

📅 Lunches will be held on the last Tuesday of each month, beginning Tuesday, September 30.
✅ Lunch is free, but registration is required.

To register, please call:
705-432-3322 ext. 105 (Jennifer) or 106 (Loretta).

Thanks to this provincial grant, free transportation will also be available through Community Care Durham for those who need it.

Funds made available by the Ontario Government Seniors Community Grants.

Photo includes Janet McPherson, Executive Director, providing welcome remarks and Jennifer Josephson, Seniors and Community Health Worker, providing the presentation.
