One simple way to check if you’ve done a good job brushing and flossing is the tongue test! Run your tongue across the surface of your teeth, especially at the gum line. If you find any areas that don’t feel smooth and slick, you may need to give those areas some extra attention!

This virus could be spread to others during a dental appointment. Additionally, depending on the cold sore location, it can be difficult and sometimes painful to keep your mouth open for a dental appointment.
