NOVA SCOTIA HERITAGE DAY - 2026

We are CLOSED tomorrow - Re-Opening Tuesday February 17th at 8am. Allowing our staff to have a long weekend.

Celebrated the third Monday in February, Nova Scotia Heritage Day is an annual reminder of our storied past and an opportunity to honour the remarkable people, places and events that have contributed to this province’s unique heritage.

This years Heritage Day honours, Joseph Willie Comeau.

Joseph Willie Comeau (1876–1966) devoted his life to public service and to strengthening Acadian life in Nova Scotia. Raised in Digby County and educated at Collège Sainte-Anne, he worked across education, business and politics, guided by a deep commitment to community, culture and service.

Over nearly five decades in the Nova Scotia Legislature and the Senate of Canada, he consistently used his voice to support Acadian language, education and cultural expression, earning lasting respect for his leadership and integrity

SEVEN Years for G!

Yesterday marked 7 years since Ghislain LeBlanc joined the team at MOVE! He was the first PT hired and has been with us ever since!

Since being at MOVE Ghislain has successfully competed his Certificate in Sport Physiotherapy through !

He’s been the Team Therapist for the (previously the ) for the last 7 seasons as well!

In addition to Sport & Orthopedic Physio, Ghislain also has a special interest and post graduate certification in the Assessment & Management of Dizziness Disorders.

Our Story

MOVE Physiotherapy opened its doors in December of 2017 by Physiotherapists, Mitch & Julie Squarey. Driven by their passion for Sport and Active Living they envisioned a multi-disciplinary clinic with a focus on patient centred care and community. Having lived in and around the Parks of West Bedford since 2012, they jumped at the opportunity to service this growing and diverse community and its surroundings.

We use our advanced training in Sport & Orthopaedic Physiotherapy to help patients of all ages and activity levels. Taking the time to hear each individual patients story, exploring their impairments, and creating patient centred goals.

Our team of Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists, Pedorthists and Bracing Specialists are passionate, driven, and highly skilled. We work collaboratively to keep you moving in LIFE and SPORT!
