They have a grant to support internationally trained physicians (ITPs) in their first two years of practice.

Physicians who choose to relocate to Nova Scotia from elsewhere in the world often face significant financial barriers. If you are an internationally trained physician in your first two years of practice, you may be eligible for the McCarthy/Stewart Grant. This grant provides $10,000 to 10 ITPs annually who are licensed to practise family medicine in rural communities and plan to work in Nova Scotia long term. Apply online by Oct. 10.
