We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for an Advanced Wound Care Consultant for central zone to join our team!

Position Scope:

The advanced wound care consultant plays a critical role within the healthcare team by addressing the needs of clients and residents with complex wound care needs to support optimal clinical outcomes. Through the application of evidence-informed practice, the wound consultant leads and facilitates improvements in wound care across the continuum of care, including home and community settings as well as long-term care. Key responsibilities include providing clinical consultation, program support, education, and capacity building to healthcare teams, with a focus on strengthening prevention and management practices and enhancing overall quality of care.

CALTC’s national survey aims to better understand the operational realities, challenges, and opportunities facing long-term care home operators and provincial associations.

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for a Term Clinical Practice Consultant team member!

The Clinical Practice Consultant (RN) supports the Continuing Care sector by advancing evidence-informed clinical practice, developing practical resources, and strengthening staff education and competency development.

Position Scope:

This role builds and sustains strong partnerships with service providers, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to advance safe, ethical, and high-quality care, while collaborating closely with partners to implement and evaluate clinical standards and programs. The Consultant also designs and delivers education, resources, and training opportunities that strengthen staff competencies, support knowledge translation, and effectively bridge theory to practice in everyday clinical care.
