In our younger years, some of us scoffed at words such as sensible or content, as they seemed only suited for the old. As we age, these words take on new meaning and in a spiritual sense, their meaning is even deeper. Someone who is sensible, in spiritual terms, is someone who can be relied on to bring practical wisdom to every situation. Someone who is content may not be the life of the party, but the energy of contentment acts like a magnet and draws others to them. These are people who are enjoyable to be with. Today let me discover new meaning in old words and reclaim their value.

To make a big thing small or to make a small thing big is in my own hands. It is a habit of some people to make a big thing out of something small. Whereas others have the ability to make big things small. No matter how big a situation may be, I can become bigger than it and that thing will then become small. By staying in my inner stage of self-respect, even big situations will appear to be small and I will feel victory in overcoming them. This requires faith in my ability to handle what comes in front of me. Today let me have faith in myself.
