What it looks like to touch a tree… vs what it feels like to be touched by one ✨

The Earth, Pachamama- she holds us, nourishes us, and teaches us in silence.
The one who speaks through the trees, the wind, the light, and the stillness.

This weekend, I found sacred land.
A place that felt like it had been waiting for me.
Where the trees were elders, and the Earth was pulsing with memory. Chunks of clear quartz crystal emerged from the stones, catching the light.

This moment (captured by a dear sister) reminded me of the deep truth:

We are not here to rule the Earth.
We are here to be shaped by her, to respond to her, to belong to her.

I touched the tree and closed my eyes.
And in that quiet, something opened.
It felt like the tree was speaking- not in words, but in waves of feeling.
A soft hum. A knowing. A stillness that held me.
As if my own heartbeat had slowed to match hers.

I felt my spine soften, my breath deepen.
I felt my body remember something divine.
The tree didn’t need to say anything.
Its presence was the message.

The trees belong to no one.
They simply are.
And when we meet them with presence,
we remember- we are Earth, too.

We are not separate.
We are not superior.
We are not entitled.

We are part of this great living web.
And I choose to honour that.

In reverence.
In listening.
In love.

Blooming doesn’t come from force, it comes from alignment with what’s real. It follows the rhythm within, stretching toward the light it knows is there.

It doesn’t open for approval. It doesn’t rush because others are blooming faster. It waits. It listens. It aligns. And when the season is right, it becomes what it was always meant to be.

We are no different.

You cannot bloom while betraying your truth.
You cannot force growth by bypassing what your heart is asking you to feel. Real blooming “soul blooming”requires deep trust. A surrender to your own timing. A belief in what lives within you…even before it’s visible.

This is not the path of perfection. It is the path of alignment. Of living in resonance with your heart,
even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it takes longer. Even when no one else understands.

Because if a flower were to resist its nature,
if it tried to be something other than what it is,
it would never bloom at all.

So trust the quiet unfolding. Trust the pull of your own light. And most of all, believe in what you were born to become.

In our fast-paced lives, having a dedicated space to reconnect with ourselves and the divine can be transformative. Home altars serve as tangible reminders of our intentions, beliefs, and the energies we wish to cultivate.

Creating an altar is a personal and intuitive practice, reflecting your inner world and spiritual journey. Whether it’s a simple candle on a shelf or a more elaborate arrangement, an altar serves as a sacred space for reflection, intention-setting, and connection.

As you delve deeper, you might incorporate elements like cardinal directions, colours, or symbolic objects to enhance its significance. Ultimately, your altar is a living expression of your path, evolving as you do.

Tips for Building Your Altar:

1. Choose a Space:
Find a quiet corner or surface that feels right to you.

2. Select Meaningful Items:
Incorporate objects that hold personal significance- flowers, cherished stones, a handwritten note, a symbolic amulet, feathers, incense and herbs, water, sacred jewelry, offerings, symbols, statues, photos or images of ancestors, guides, or deities, prayer beads, etc…

3. Set an Intention:
Before arranging your items, set a clear intention for your altar’s purpose.

4. Maintain Regularly:
Keep the space clean and refresh items as needed to keep the energy vibrant.
