As we awake to a 2nd straight day of rain, a big part of mental wellness is a focus on things we CAN control and things we cannot. Though we cannot control the weather, we CAN control the activities we do and the clothing we wear. The farm has a philosophy of their is rarely 'bad weather' but there are 'bad clothing choices for the weather!"
Dancing and playing in the rain, snow and other types of weather also reminds us to be greatful and not put off outdoor play/ activities to another day!

We hear from many families that they feel pressure to plan grand adventures for their children and time is a barrier but that is not true... .
