It’s that special time of year when we pause to reflect, rest, and celebrate the Winter Solstice, the Christmas season and the New Year 🎄✨❄️

Hello, everyone! It’s been a little while since my last post, and I wanted to share a quick update. After a fabulous two weeks in Ireland with family and friends at the end of June, I returned home to Belleville, bringing my mother back with me! Though I’ve been back in the clinic, busy continuing to see you, my wonderful clients, I haven’t been as active here on social media. 😊

As a sweet coincidence, Facebook just reminded me of a memory from two years ago—my mum enjoying a Bowen session on our sunny deck. 🌞 I couldn’t resist sharing it alongside this recent photo of us visiting Prince Edward County. It’s amazing how Bowen has been such a consistent part of our lives, keeping her feeling well and active. 🌿

This summer, we’ve been walking, cycling, swimming, and enjoying being outside as much as possible. 🚴‍♀️🏊‍♀️ Regular Bowen sessions have kept her aches and pains at bay, and we had extra fun watching the Olympics (did you know one of the countries had a Bowen practitioner with them?). 🥇

Even though today’s weather is a bit wet ☔️, there’s still plenty of summer left, and I’m feeling recharged and ready to start sharing more about Bowen therapy with all of you here. Stay tuned for more updates, and if you’ve been thinking about booking a session, now’s a great time to reconnect and give your body the care it deserves! 🌱

Hello everyone,

We have reached one of my favourite days of the year, the longest day of the year, the start of summer and International Day of Yoga! I'm excited to celebrate the Summer Solstice with you! This special day holds significance across cultures and traditions, marking the peak of sunlight and the onset of summer's abundance.

As many of you know, another passion of mine is the practice of yoga. Did you know that the Summer Solstice coincides with the International Day of Yoga? It's a perfect convergence, highlighting the harmony between nature and holistic well-being.

To honor this day, I invite you to join me in a rejuvenating practice of Sun Salutations. Canadians are some of the healthiest people in the world; however, many Canadian men are not as healthy as they could be.

Small actions can have a significant impact in preventing many chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and even some types of cancer. A lifestyle that includes healthy eating, regular physical activity, and adequate sleep, as well as limiting alcohol consumption and not smoking, can have an enormous positive and long-term impact on men’s health.

Bowen therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique that can help with a wide range of issues, from reducing stress and alleviating pain to improving overall mental wellness. It’s not just for physical ailments; it’s also incredibly effective for mental health support.
