🛑 PSA…a gentle reminder that there is no product available in drugstore, prescribed or otherwise that will kill nits (eggs). Nits must be combed or manually removed from the hair. Treatment must be applied at appropriate time intervals to break the life cycle of the lice in order to successfully treat an infestation.

🛑 Unfortunately many of the products on the market state that they can kill and target nits but this is not the case and is often the reason why families struggle with recurrent lice infestations, even though, they followed the instructions outlined on the packaging.

☀️ Maybe I am being optimistic that the warm weather and sun is just around the corner with this post…but…a reminder that most day camps and overnight summer camps have a no nit policy, unlike school, if your kiddos have head lice, they will not be able to attend. Reach out to get ahead of the rush…summer is a super busy time for bookings and being left in the lurch with no day care can be so tough for parents ☀️

😳 I am finding more and more that the over the counter treatments people are purchasing from the drug stores, just aren’t doing the trick. This is thanks to super lice! They are expensive and full of chemicals 😞 Thankfully the treatment I use is extremely effective and non-toxic with ZERO harmful chemicals. It is gentle enough to be used on a baby. Please contact me prior to going to the pharmacy. My prices will be comparable to the amount of treatment you will purchase at the pharmacy and will be far more effective!
