“When can I stop doing these exercises?”
When do you plan to stop brushing your teeth? 🦷🪥
Look, I know you want a finish line. You want me to tell you that after 6 sessions, you’re “cured” and you never have to think about this again.
But that’s not how bodies work. And honestly? That’s not how anything works.
You brush your teeth regularly—not just when they hurt.
You maintain your car—not just when it breaks down.
You work on your mental health—not just during a crisis.
Your physical health is no different.
Maintenance isn’t a sign that something’s wrong with you. It’s a sign that you’re being smart and proactive.
Regular checkups with your physio, chiro, or massage therapist? Normal.
Continuing your exercises a few times a week? Healthy.
Addressing small niggles before they become big problems? Brilliant.
This isn’t about being “dependent” on care. This is about taking care of the one body you’ve got.
Stop expecting a cure. Start embracing the process.
Life is ongoing. Your body is constantly adapting to what you ask of it—work, stress, movement, sitting, standing, all of it.
Maintenance is how you keep it resilient instead of constantly chasing pain relief.
So yeah, keep doing your exercises. Keep showing up for your body.
Because you’re not broken. You’re just human. And humans need maintenance. 💪
