Friendly reminder that legend and lore states that the sighting of your first Robin you see in the spring is auspicious.

Take a moment to be still upon the land and look at the robin and offer the Robin your request for a wish or goodwill etc.

Allow yourself to receive good will and blessings in your favour from these wonderful allies of good fortune.

Additionally the Robin metaphysically can represent
New beginnings
Reminds us to have faith
To trust in our future
To embrace new opportunities
Aids in finding joy in the simple moments
And provides a sense of comfort.

Thank you to those who attended the ceremonies last night.
Such a sweet powerful presence of people one at a time (or couples) tending to their grief and honouring.
We would also like to thank those who intended to come but were unable. We felt you with us. Like all good ceremonies the amount of people essence that is present outweighs the actual bodies present.

Thank you to the Belleville Fire Department who shares the corner with us, who when we started the fire, the lowered their flag to half mast.

Truly an beautiful gesture that honoured what we all were doing.

And thank you to those that drove by our busy street and sent love out the window, curiosity, and gentle interest.

Thank you, deeply. I love this community 🥰

Thank you to Ron Foxall for stepping into being the fire keeper, having peoples back at the fire, drumming, sertup and tear down as well as all your energetic offerings. You are amazing and kind and generous and we thank you.

Thank you Teri Kennedy-Swindon for being an amazing gentle hostess and coordinator to those attended and getting them set up for the process. I can’t do what I do in the fire circle with you doing what you do, truly gifted and spectacular at tending to our community of people. Thank you!

Thank you Marvina Kennedy-Peddleflr helping us with tear down and taking care of the wet supplies as the drain today. I think you have attended almost every event We have had, and I love that. 🙏🏼

Here is a few pictures of the set up and tear down. Like everything the pictures don’t capture the essence.

I love that the snow came, it made for beautiful sections to each offereing and offered some reverence on the walk on the paths.

The moon reflecting overhead, perfect.

And I especially love that we could do what we all needed. Out in the open, right on the lawn in a busy city and feel nothing but love, kindness and general interest.

Even the kids up the street screaming as the hurled each other into snow banks was timely.

I have added a fire video from the end of the night for those who wish to use the loop for their own moments. What ever they may be.
