I have a wonderful new addition to our team “Jumie” and I’m m trying to help her find the full or part time client care .

Jumie is a recent graduate from loyalist . From the Psw program and is an exceptional care provider . Let’s get her working !!!

Wellness check on this sweet heart - recovery ing from knee surgery - in so much pain she can’t string together 2 thoughts . We stayed til she settled down . Figured out what Assistance was being made for pain care , and helped her to understand what her care plan was . We brought in dinner and prayers along with some genuine loving care . We will be following up with her well into her transition back home .

Before and after pics - today was a wellness & courtesy check at a LTC facility in the county . A well needed hair cut .followed by a refreshing apple beverage and blueberry muffin . I think he was content .

If you or a loved one require a Life Line within the home to detect falls or emergency situations. At a reasonable price ; I’ve found this company to provide a service with NO Contract , NO installation fee NO activation fee and they are running a promotion at the moment $29.99 plus tax .
You don’t need a land line if you don’t have one , a cell phone will work too , their device simply plugs into the wall , it’s wireless , with a 36 hour back up battery incase power should go out .

Meal prep required (Breakfast , lunch ,her dinner )

Provide companionship care

Get client showered and dressed
Peri care every time she toilets

prompt client to take her medication

Engage in activities that will stimulate client

Light house keeping When required

It’s essential you know how to cook

Make notes in communication book each time and document
And read the communication book to update yourself on how her week has been and initial each day you have read

She has dementia
Approximately 80 yrs old
Lives with daughter and son in law
They work outside the home

5 cats ( outside and indoor ) 1 dog (small )2 geese (outside )
Non smoking home
No smokers preferred
Pet friendly psw ideal

5 yrs min experience needed
2 days a week
9 hour shifts
Wednesday & Thursdays

Someone responsible
Dependable
Reliable vehicle
The country roads can be tricky getting up and down the valleys so you have to be a confident driver and arrive on time regardless of weather
So you would need to time yourself accordingly .
Arrive on time . Not 30 min early , not 30 min late - but on time :)
