Did you know that a cooler sleeping environment can help improve your sleep quality and your CPAP mask comfort?

When your room is too warm, your mask may shift, leak, or cause sweating, making it harder to stay asleep. Cooler air helps reduce moisture buildup in your mask and tubing, plus it minimize leaks by keeping the mask seal snug, promoting deeper sleep by regulating your body temperature

Try lowering your thermostat a few degrees, use breathable bedding, or setting your CPAP device away from direct heat sources.

Dry air from your CPAP machine may irritate your throat, especially if you breathe through your mouth or your mask isn’t sealed properly. The good news is that using a heated hose or a chin strap can often help by adding moisture or minimizing mouth breathing.

Big News at InspiAIR Quinte! Welcome Our New Managing Partner, Eric Kruger!

Many of you in the region may already know Eric from his excellent previous work in previous work in Kingston, Napanee & Belleville! So we are absolutely thrilled to welcome Eric to our Quinte Family as Respiratory Therapist & Managing Partner!

Eric is a highly accomplished Respiratory Therapist, having graduated from Fanshawe College in 2015. He brings a wealth of experience, with over 10 years of clinical and managerial expertise across various sectors, including hospital and primary care, as well as specializing in home oxygen and sleep therapy.

As a Certified Respiratory Educator, Eric's passion for patient and family education shines through in everything he does. His dedication as a Managing Partner will ensure that every patient receives tailored service and equipment that perfectly meets their individual needs.

We are incredibly excited for Eric to lead our Quinte location and continue enhancing the exceptional care our patients deserve. Welcome again Eric and best of luck!
