Did you know that only Health Canada approved hearing aids can be advertised in Canada?

This includes:
🔹No Over-the-Counter (OTC) hearing aids
🔹No advertising or online promotion of OTC devices
🔹A prescription is required to purchase a legal hearing aid in Ontario

Unauthorized over-the-counter hearing aids aren’t allowed to be sold or advertised in Canada, and they can potentially be unsafe for users. Health Canada monitors these violations and can take legal action if necessary.

How can you help?
If you see illegal advertising or sales of hearing devices, you can report it to Health Canada by submitting a complaint by email or by filling out the online complaint form.
