The mandate of the EC National Eventing Committee is to develop and deliver programs to grow domestic eventing through the attraction and retention of athletes, officials, coaches, organizers, and volunteers. To meet this aim, the committee will work in close collaboration with PHTAs, PTSOs, and EC Staff to execute the following priorities: Continued advancement of the outcome of the 2024 Organizer Survey, delivery of programs to distribute the Levy money that were recently invested back into domestic Eventing, expansion of the National Rankings for Eventing, and growth of the ICE program across the nation. Registered Hanoverian gelding 16.2 h. Handsome dapple bay by Schwarzenegger out of an Escudo I mare. X-rays on file, sound, healthy, and easy keeper. Has shown as a five-year-old at the Ottawa Spring Dressage show and QSLB Cadora( training level) Big plans for Guinness as a six and seven year old were put on hold due to severe illness in the family. Instead, he spent many hours learning to be an excellent trail horse and training rides with his owner. Bridges, wildlife, water, muddy footing, hills and traffic do not faze him. Willingly popped over natural logs etc on the trails, he would so much enjoy the eventing world. He is currently ready to show Level 1 and advancing quickly through Level 2 tasks.
Guinness trailers, clips and has great feet that do not require shoes. Big-barreled horse that takes up a lot of leg. Requires a competent intermediate rider with an independent seat and hands. Professional not required, but not a beginner's horse.
Guinness has siblings showing over fences. He is in top show condition, vaccinated, teeth floated, farrier every four weeks. Guinness is ready to be someone's “special” boy in the discipline of your choice. Please contact Jeannette Sterner for more information and to book a visit to meet Guinness.

It was an interesting Friday evening. We had 2 controlled burns, cleaning up the remains from the ice storm.
First of all, I want to give a huge thanks to the Plainfield firefighters who came yesterday to the farm after being called by a client who was concerned thinking the barn was on fire. It fills my heart to know that everyone watches out for us and to know that if I have an emergency fire, help will be here less than 3 minutes. When the firefighters arrived, their sense of urgency was impressive. Once they realized it was a small control burn and the water hose near by, just in case, everyone was relaxed and one was asking where are the hot dogs. We watched the fire for 10 min and then I put it out with the garden hose.
Again, we have amazing firefighters in our neighbourhood and I couldn’t be more grateful to feel safe!

We had a fantastic F-Balance Clinic with amazing 5 ⭐️ Master Yvonne Adam, from the German Academy in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. Unfortunately, the weather conditions forced half of the attendees not to come, but your spot is reserved for the August clinic and we are looking forward to meet you then.
The clinic was as always amazing, everyone learned so much.
