Due to an unexpected heating issue in our building, the Centre will be closed today. The space has become too cold to safely welcome clients — especially our pregnant clients — and we want to ensure everyone’s comfort and well-being.

We were also closed yesterday due to weather, and at this time we’ll be monitoring conditions daily to determine when we can safely reopen. We’ll share updates here as soon as possible.

Becoming a parent, especially when it’s unexpected, can feel overwhelming.

You may have genuine concerns about raising a child, such as juggling studies with a new baby, concerns about securing or keeping a job, or navigating the challenges of single parenthood.

During your visit, your support worker will address these concerns, highlighting available resources. You can use this time to understand what support you can receive as you navigate your parenting options. Your support worker can also refer you to a number of our Centre's programs or other community resources and assistance as needed.

Adoption is often quickly dismissed as an option for an unexpected pregnancy, with responses like “I could never do that”, but it could be a meaningful choice that’s right for you.

During your visit, you’ll learn about the different types of adoptions, from public to private, and what open, semi-open, or closed adoptions involve. Your support worker will help you navigate the process, timelines, and the support available to you.

This is a great opportunity to have your questions answered as you navigate an unexpected pregnancy.

We respect a person's right to make their own decision and provide them with medically accurate information on all three options: abortion, adoption, and parenting.

One of the options covered during an Options appointment at the Centre is Abortion.

We offer a safe environment for women to make a pregnancy decision that is fully informed, evidence-based, and free from external pressure.

While we do not provide abortions or abortion medications, we are committed to offering medically accurate information about abortions. During an options appointment at the Centre, a support worker will explain the procedure and discuss potential risks so that you can make an informed decision.

We respect a person's right to make their own decision and provide them with medically accurate information on all three options: abortion, adoption, and parenting.
