📢 Your Centre for Workforce Development, in collaboration with the Enrichment Centre for Mental Health, is hosting a FREE Identification and Employment Clinic in Bancroft next week!

🗓 When: Wednesday, November 5th | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Where: St. John the Evangelist Church, 21 Flint Avenue, Bancroft, ON

This clinic, geared to justice-involved, vulnerable, marginalized, and unhoused individuals, provides a vital opportunity for community members to access identification, employment resources, and support services — all at no cost. No appointment necessary - everyone is welcome!

It was a pleasure having Ted Hsu at one of our centres!

Yesterday, I met with Peer Support South East Ontario (PSSEO), an organization funded by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Long-Term Care. PSSEO is staffed by people with lived experience of mental health challenges who offer support and services to those struggling with their mental health. This includes transitional support for those leaving hospital or AMHS care. I also learned about the increasing number of referrals they’re receiving across eastern Ontario while working within a fixed budget. Thank you, PSSEO, for taking the time to speak with me about your ongoing work.
