Meet Laura!

We are excited to welcome Laura to the Remedy Massage team.
She will be starting with Remedy beginning of October and able to offer evening and weekend appointments.
Her hours will be Wednesday and Thursday 10-7, and every other Saturday 9-3.

Effective May 1, 2024, there will be a price increase to most massage therapy treatments. The 30 and 45 minute will remain the same at $75 and $85. These prices still include tax.

All about PLANTAR FASCIITIS

The most common symptoms of plantar fasciitis is pain in the bottom of the foot, near the heel. Most commonly presenting in the morning with the first couple of steps getting out of bed being extremely painful, or just after long periods of sitting.

With any inflammation, cold and ice are great remedies to do at home to help it heal.

Some great tricks that we recommend at home are to roll ur foot over a frozen water bottle, self massage by rolling a tennis ball with your foot, wear supportive shoes, and of course the number one recommendation: BOOK A MASSAGE APPOINTMENT.

With a half hour appointment, we work deep into the calves, ankles and feet to loosen up those painful arches and keep everything around it loose. When your feet are in pain, it’s very easy to start w compensating and walking differently, which tightens up other muscles in your legs and feet.
