Join us on Monday, March 30th for a special 10:00am–2:00pm Lunch & Learn session designed to strengthen mental health literacy and build sustainable resilience within our community. There is also a 6:30pm-7:30pm after Supper & Study online session to practice Gratitude.
Participants may register for one or both modules and are invited to stay for networking over lunch.
🌿 Module 1: Compassion Fatigue
10:00am – 11:30am
Are you feeling emotionally drained while caring for others? You’re not alone.
Compassion fatigue can affect anyone — caregivers, helping professionals, leaders, and those supporting loved ones. This interactive workshop helps participants:
• Understand what compassion fatigue is and how it develops
• Recognize the signs and impacts in personal and professional life
• Explore practical tools to navigate and prevent emotional depletion
• Strengthen sustainable capacity while continuing to care for others
🌱 Module 2: Burnout, Boundaries & Self-Care
12:30pm – 2:00pm
Burnout is increasingly common — but it’s not inevitable.
This session explores:
• The root causes and warning signs of burnout
• How boundaries protect our well-being and uphold our values
• The role of self-care in preventing and addressing burnout
• An interactive exercise mapping the six dimensions of self-care for daily life
Participants will leave with concrete strategies they can apply immediately.
☕ Networking & Lunch
From 11:30am–12:30pm, participants are invited to stay, connect, and build community. This Mental Health Monday gathering creates space for learning, reflection, and relationship-building in a supportive environment. Food, beverages and refreshments will be provided.
🌼 Module 3: Gratitude & Emotional Resilience (Online)
6:30pm – 7:30pm (Virtual Session)
Practicing gratitude can transform the brain and help us feel more peaceful and less reactive.
Gratitude shifts our focus toward what is working and what is good in the present moment. By anchoring us in the “now,” it can help reduce worry about the future and allow frustration to soften. Over time, gratitude builds emotional regulation, perspective, and resilience.
In this interactive online workshop, participants will:
• Explore how gratitude impacts the brain and emotional responses
• Learn how gratitude reduces reactivity and supports calm decision-making
• Discover how shifting focus can ease frustration and strengthen perspective
• Practice simple, practical gratitude tools that can be integrated into daily self-care
• Develop a personalized gratitude strategy to support ongoing resilience
Need support infusing more gratitude into your self-care regimen? This session offers practical tools you can begin using immediately
Participants may register for this session independently or as part of the full Mental Health Mondays series.
