The fall immunization program will help protect those at highest risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19.

Phase one of the new plan will provide vaccines free of charge to eligible Albertans, and phase two will be for healthy Albertans who will be required to pay an administrative fee of $100 to receive the vaccine.

Those eligible in phase one include:
• health care workers
• all residents of continuing care homes and seniors supportive living accommodations
• home care clients
• people six months of age and older with underlying medical conditions and compromised immune systems
• those experiencing houselessness
• people 65 and older receiving the Alberta Seniors Benefit

Phase one appointments will begin on Oct. 1 for eligible Albertans, pending vaccine availability. Phase two appointments for all other Albertans are expected to begin on Oct. 20.

The electronic charting system used by the Crowsnest Medical Clinic has a patient portal called CHR Connect that allows patients to see and manage their appointments, as well as keep their contact details up to date. Clinic physicians and staff can also communicate with patients directly through the app when organizing and managing healthcare needs and services.
If we have a valid email address on file, patients of the clinic will be receiving an invitation to access their patient portal in the next week or two. If you have already registered on the portal you may disregard this invite. If not, please register to access the portal and confirm your contact details.
If you do not receive an invite, it may be that we do not have an email address for you on file. You can either call the clinic to update this information or provide an email address when you check in for your next appointment.

Counselling Services for Pincher Creek & Crowsnest Pass

Lethbridge Family Services offers in-person and online counselling services in Pincher Creek and the Crowsnest Pass. Counselling can support those who are experiencing difficulties with trauma, abuse, sexual violence, family violence, grief and loss, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Individuals aged 13 to end of life are eligible. Fees will be discussed at the time of intake. No person will be denied service based on financial hardship. To book an appointment for you or your dependent, please call our Counselling Intake Team.
