January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, an opportunity to raise awareness about this form of cancer and the importance of the Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination. HPV is almost exclusively the cause of cervical cancer. In some cases, symptoms may not appear until the cancer is more advanced. Regular screenings, protected s*x and HPV vaccination are among the most effective ways to protect yourself and your partner.
