Freedom 55 has a new meaning!!

On this day, the day I acknowledge completion of 55 trips around the sun as Catherine, I am freer than ever.

Thank you for all the lovely acknowledgements. I am far richer than any bank account will ever show.

I have only one birthday wish this year. And that’s for peace upon this Earth and in the hearts of all the beings who call Her Mother.

The way I have been called to take part is to help the Sacred Feminine be remembered, reclaimed, and revered.

Needless to say, I said YES to that Tipi - and it was delivered the next day.
�I was lit up and sparkling like a fire cracker on Canada Day, and at the same time, my mind was pulling me back to more practical items like how I was going to pay for it. Eeek!

But then again, every single action I’ve already taken toward answering the Call to reconnect women to the Sacred Feminine has been met with ease. The only thing required for the resources to show up is my YES.�
Now, as if that’s not magical enough, for the record, if I were to go online now and order a Tipi, it wouldn’t arrive until later this year, or early next year (due to supply issues and sustainable harvesting of the poles that form its structure). So make no mistake.

Timing is everything. And so is the YES!�
SHE:Initiation circles will resume in their new home on this sacred land, in this sacred Tipi, in June 2023. (I’m so excited!)

Wait, there’s more….

While at the Elders & Indigenous Peoples Gathering, not only did I conjure up a Tipi, I also received confirmation that offering these Sacred Sisterhood Circles will be WITHOUT FEE to attendees. There will never be a fee to attend a healing circle or retreat in this space. EVER.

Now comes the trust.

It’s been a long time coming, and quite the journey to get here. I wouldn’t change a bit of it.

I am so happy to announce that SHE:Initiation has a new rural home, within a sacred forest near Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada that called me to love it back to Life.

After acquiring the property, we spent 7 months renovating the dwelling so we could live in it, and then spent another 12 months getting to know the land and establishing roots in our new Community.

I was patient while I waited for the vision for SHE:Initiation’s new home to reveal itself. Would it be a structure my son and I build? Would it be a yurt? Would it be a bell tent? Something else?

I explored each of these ideas. But none of them felt right.

Until about 4 weeks ago.

While I was out for a walk on the land where our home is, I got the very distinct message that the work we will be doing here will happen inside of a Tipi. It landed with certainty in my body.

We live very close to Curve Lake First Nation, so my first thought was to see if anyone there sells and/or installs Tipi’s. I shared this Tipi vision with a neighbour friend and her husband, who I knew had contacts at Curve Lake.

Fast forward 2 weeks. As with everything else I’ve done to take action toward answering the Call I accepted to reconnect women to the Sacred Feminine, all the resources began to show up. It began when I accepted my neighbour’s invitation to attend the Peterborough event. There I learned about the Elders & Indigenous Peoples Gathering that was going to be happening a few days later at Trent University.

Still with me? This is where it gets magickal!

At the Elders Gathering, the Tipi company that supplies Trent U with their Tipi had one on display. And while attending Story Time around the fire, my friend’s husband told me that he had been speaking to the Tipi people and they were looking to sell the display model. It was (literally) the answer to the vision I had received only 2 weeks earlier... to be continued in the next post!

I know for some of us it's weird to say "I brag ___________(fill in the blank with your brilliance)".

It's weird for all of us, at first.

But believe me when I say, IT BECOMES SO NATURAL, I even forget I'm doing it.

Let me share a wee story about how "bragging" was negatively reinforced in my psyche:

Once upon a time (not that long ago) in a far away galaxy ... before I remembered the Goddess that I am ....
{*}
My boyfriend at the time (he'd never make it through my Goddess boundary now!) said to me "Don't hurt yourself now." And I said "huh?" and he said "Don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back."

I was thinking to myself ... like.... really? I just did some super amazing s**t, and that's all you can say to me?
{*}
It hurt.
{*}
Not only did he not acknowledge my magnificence, he had to take it away from me, too.
{*}
I've since come to learn the following things about bragging:
{+} For the bragger: It rewires our brains to build a self-appreciation muscle. Self-appreciation begins to dismantle the bill of goods we were sold by the patriarchy that told us our value and our worth comes only from outside of us, in what others say is true.
{+} For the person witnessing the brag: It's a decisive tool. It either peaks their curiosity, they lean in and want to know what you just said - or - it confronts so strongly their own sense of self-appreciation and self-worth that they have to shut it down and fast, because if they can't have it, then neither can you!
