Hi everyone, it’s Owen here. Many of you know me as Odd Job Owen. For the past 5 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving our community — from hot tub and pool maintenance, drywall repair, mowing lawns and fixing fences to lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

I’ve been supported by over 250 amazing customers, and I’ve tried to give back every step of the way:

• Sponsoring youth sports teams 🏒⚽
• Donating my services to help raise funds for families impacted by cancer 💙
• Volunteering over 100 hours to help seniors around their homes 🛠️

Along the way, I’ve learned what it means to run a business — working 7 days a week, hiring and training employees, and even being the youngest member of the Clarington Board of Trade in Bowmanville.

Now, as I turn 18 this January, I’m ready for my next chapter: pursuing an electrician apprenticeship. ⚡

I’m reaching out to this incredible community that has always had my back. I’m looking for a sponsor to help me begin my apprenticeship. Here’s what I can offer:

• Strong references from customers and community leaders
• My own reliable truck to travel independently to job sites
• A proven track record of hard work, responsibility, and commitment

I’ve already contacted local unions, but I’m hoping someone here might have a connection or opportunity. I can promise that investing in me will mean getting a dedicated, hardworking apprentice who’s eager to learn and grow.

Thank you to everyone who has provided referrals and recommendations online. I appreciate it and I have been trying to give back to the community too.

I am providing volunteer services to some seniors undergoing cancer treatment and I’m also sponsoring my brother’s hockey team, the U14A Gold Toros, for the second year.
