Last week was a groovy blast from the past! On Wednesday, we had a fantastic time making tie-dye T-shirts to get ready for our 60’s event. By Friday, everyone was decked out in their far-out 60’s attire as we danced the afternoon away, enjoyed live entertainment, and indulged in some sweet treats. What a fabulous throwback!

This past Friday, we celebrated National Alice in Wonderland Day in whimsical style with a Mad Hatter High Tea! Residents embraced their creativity, crafting and showing off their wonderfully wacky Mad Hatter hats.

Happy Canada Day!
Today we celebrate Canada’s 158th birthday! At Vedanta Living, we’re proud and grateful to call this beautiful country home. We embraced the spirit of the day by dressing in our red and white, enjoying a festive Canada Day BBQ, and capping it off with live entertainment by the amazing Vintage Soul!

During this intense heat wave we've all been enduring, we found some creative (and delicious!) ways to stay cool at Vedanta. Our team came together for a series of fun, refreshing activities designed to help us chill out.. literally!

On Sunday, we kicked things off with frozen Baileys and coffee, followed by a tasty twist with a “Guess the Ice Cream Flavour” challenge featuring delicious selections from Enniskillen.

Monday turned up the excitement with our Ice Cube Challenge, testing our endurance to see who could hold onto an ice cube the longest (spoiler: it's harder than it sounds!).

And today, we ended on a sweet note by indulging in a special treat: Birthday Cake Baileys poured over creamy ice cream. A perfect way to cool down and celebrate!

Hello, Summer!
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off the summer season here at Vedanta! Under bright, sunny skies, we celebrated the first day of summer in our festive tropical attire, bringing extra color to the day. We enjoyed a delicious outdoor BBQ, followed by outdoor games, refreshing strawberry daiquiris, and the uplifting steel drum sounds of Andy Philips. It was the perfect way to mark the longest day of the year! A joyful start to a summer filled with sunshine and smiles!

Meet Emma, a cherished member of the Vedanta Living family since day one. Known for her bright smile and the wonderful stories she shares with our residents, Emma brings joy to everyone around her.

Yesterday, she achieved an incredible milestone by graduating with honours, and we couldn’t be prouder.

We had an incredible time this past Saturday at the BOAA Walk-A-Thon! Team Vedanta absolutely crushed it, huge kudos to everyone who took part. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

Today, Betty celebrates her 87th birthday, and continues to inspire us all! Over the weekend, she took part in the BOAA Walk-a-Thon and proudly completed the entire 5km walk!!!! Betty is always participating in programs, from morning exercise, sing-a-longs, puzzles, and more! Do not change Betty!
Way to go, you're a true role model!
