Yesterday, we had so much fun celebrating Bring Your Kid to Work Day! The day kicked off with balloon twisting by Balloon Lovers , followed by a delicious lunch, because who doesn’t love chicken fingers and fries? The fun continued with Name That Tune, bean bag toss, ring toss, and bucket toss games. We wrapped up the day with an exciting Play-Doh challenge (see our next post for all the details!).

Twin Day at Vedanta Living was a huge success! Our residents and staff truly outdid themselves with their creativity, enthusiasm, and perfectly coordinated outfits.

The excitement continued into the afternoon with a lively fashion show that had everyone cheering. Congratulations to our first-place winners, Eunice and her mother Jerri, who wowed the crowd! Oral and his daughter Lori earned a well-deserved second place, and Gladys and Marilyn brought home third with their fabulous twin style.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the day so much fun — the smiles said it all!

What a milestone! Today we proudly celebrated 100% occupancy at Vedanta! 🥂✨

The festivities included a champagne toast, delicious cake, lots of dancing, and our very own Vedanta rendition of Sweet Caroline (stay tuned to our posts, you won’t want to miss it!).

We were also treated this morning to a generous donation of beautiful roses from Barb at Costco Wholesale Canada , the perfect touch to an already special celebration. 🌹

Most importantly, we honoured the 100 reasons we made it to 100% , the incredible residents, dedicated staff, compassionate volunteers, and supportive community organizations who make Vedanta what it is. We truly would not be where we are today without these amazing people. Our hearts are full, and we are beyond grateful for the community that continues to lift us up every single day. 💛

Today, we brought the Olympics to Vedanta Living! 🏅 We spent the afternoon competing in snowball toss, table curling, and bean bag toss, and the energy was incredible from start to finish.

A big congratulations to all of our participants, and a huge thank you to our amazing cheerleaders for keeping spirits high!

🥉 3rd place: The Vedanta Vixens

To top it all off, we were treated to a special surprise visit from former Olympian Lori, who competed in the half-pipe at the 1998 Olympics. She even left some of her Olympic gear for us to try on and take photos with, such a fun and memorable experience for everyone!
